Number of dead bodies pulled from tea party rallies still zero.

TALLAHASSEE — A man was found dead in his tent at the Occupy Tallahassee camp site downtown on Thursday afternoon.

The Tallahassee Police Department, which responded, has not released his name or a possible cause of death.

Larry Hendricks, a spokesman for the Occupy group, said the man had been sick recently and may have been dead a couple of days or longer. Hendricks said he found the man in his tent after going to check on him.

Hendricks said the man told him when he arrived at the camp some time ago that he was an insulin-dependent diabetic.

“Unless they find out otherwise, I think it was a natural occurrence,” Hendricks said.

Occupy members said the man didn’t socialize much with others at the camp site, located on the Johns property between Gaines, Madison, Duval and Bronough streets.
