NPR Saddened That Americans Don’t Feel Guiltier About Using ‘Disproportionate Share’ of Planet’s Resources

Hey! NPR! Have you ever read,”The Five-Thousand Year Leap?”
Just what I was thinking logan, Americans also shouldn’t feel guilty about all the advancements we’ve contributed to the world.
Well, maybe they will be cheered up by the fact that I do not waste electricity powering a radio to listen to their crap…
I’m saddened to know that NPR receives taxpayer funding. Guess we’re even…
I feel awful about my excess use of planetary resources. To make myself feel better, I’m gonna drive my Corvette about 100 miles this weekend just for fun. But don’t worry, NPR. She gets better gas mileage on the highway so I’m gonna drive her fast.
This is what happens when wacko enviros indoctrinate schoolchildren for 30 years with nonsense.
Now all those children are grown up and they actually believe this stuff.
Sucks to be you, NPR.
Don’t worry NPR – the Marxist you help elect to the Presidency is working on that right now. If he wins in November, I’m sure he will finish the job.
When the people of Sierra Leon would rather buther each other instead of picking up diamonds that are everywhere in that country……when the people of dozens of different socialist republics would rather fight each other instead of exploiting all the riches that their countryside has to offer them………….ummmm, NO! I dont feel the least bit guilty that my nation FULLY REALIZES THE POTENTIAL of its own natural resources, and THOSE RESOURCES THAT WERE CREATED THROUGH PRIVATE INNOVATION.
Certain things only exist in the west because of who the west is. The fact is that countries like the United States and Canada only have ‘Shale Oil’ and ‘Oil-Sands Oil’ because the made efficient use of resources that most third world dictators would have never considered.
Hell…I don’t feel guilty…I pay dearly for these resources….
NPR needs to go suck an egg….
Don’t listen to that fool of a program anyway….
AT LAST! We have a picture of Rubella and it’s exactly what I imagined!
“‘Disproportionate Share’ of Planet’s Resources”
The planet has no resources until some human figures out how to use them to his own advantage. And as far as i know, THERE IS NO WORLD GOVERNMENT, so the people of the United States bare no obligation to an implied ‘Global Collective’.
Oil was no good to anyone until someone figured out how to use it.
Economies thrive because of three basic factors: innovative ideas, world-class talent and capital/accumulated equipment. American wealth is a direct function of its increased specialization, its accumulation of active assets (computers, dishwasher, what have you.)
Do these brain-dead idiots not understand that even though the US is 5% of the world’s population and we do use 25% of the world’s natural resources, we also produce 25% of the world’s GDP??
Life is hard, and then you breathe cow farts. Get over it.
I just turned on 4 fans and my central air to piss of NPR…
After reading this article I was inspired to turn the thermostat on my air conditioner down a few degrees so that I can use more resources. Just to piss you off.
Do I feel guilty? Not only no, but HELL NO!
95% of the world’s population can just bite me. If I can afford it, I’ll use it. I’ll be able to use a lot more once we get rid of our current occupant in the wh – I can see Nov. from my house!
Without the USA to exploit the Earth’s wealths, technology would never have advanced beyond 700 AD.
We’d all be living in the manner in which MooHamHead lived.
Hallelujah Little Miss Rainbow! Another fact-based, truthful analysis – both of which are anathema to liberalists.
See hereand make sure to select the pie chart.
That link shows 20% but another link I found showed that U.S. GDP as a percentage of the world’s was 25% in 2007. Just a coincidence that our share of the world’s GDP has dropped 5% since 2007 and Maobama was elected in 2008, right?
Don’t you think NPR uses a disproportionate share of the EM spectrum?
I mean there’s a shitload of stations and repeaters, amirite?
