the christian thing to do
God bless you child you’re a better person then I
Roger that. I’m not sure I’d have reacted like the Christian I profess to be…
The apology still seems more about Smith puffing himself up.
Smith suffers from Kool Aid poisoning and overdosing on MSNBC/CNN/CBS/ABc.
And now the guy feels even more like an ass.
I don’t think he’s deep enough to feel anything.. The man is a shallow moron who berated a young girl because she worked for a company who’s CEO believes in the biblical form of marriage..
Where the hell did my gravatar come from?
The gravatar genie?
I think my computer or Zips site is haunted.
It comes and goes faster then the median spins for obama.
Been having the same issue…plus someone else in the universe is using “sickofislam” so all his posts are showing up under my old name.
Is he as funny as you?
As well he should…and he should be treated like an ass. Why should we tolerate these people….Karma is a bitch.
In my younger years, brash, outgoing, happy-go-lucky, I learned the hard that there IS a Universal Law, and it’s Murphy’s Law. Then, as I got older, I noticed there is a second one. And it’s ” Karma is a bitch”!
Ah, the joys of “acquiring” wisdom… X-D
I dont think thats classy. I think she should point out how he is deranged, and should seek psychiatric help. Really bring to light how what he did is NOT something done by a rational person.
Being “the nice guy” is why they keep rolling over us in the media.
Were fighting a war playing by the rules, and our enemy is not. History shows the people that dont play by the rules generally win in war.
tCA, I think we all feel like that. But our upbringing is simply getting the better of us …
I keep thinking of “by doing so, you heap coals on their head”
Showing the world how conservative Christians do it….She made it look easy.
Adam Smith…dubbed the asshole of the world….I doubt he will get it…I am thinking he learned nothing and would do it all over again.
His apology should have lasted 30 seconds and been done with, instead he yammers on for about 7 minutes still trying to justify what he did..
Excuse me, I meant she is classy, but not the smartest thing to do. Shes already established as the victim in a verbal attack. She should use that as a launching point to take them (activists) down another peg or 2.
Play to win, or play to lose.
@Zip:disqusHey what’s up with the gravatar’s sometimes I have one sometimes I don’t?.
What a sweetheart and wholesome young lady, she certainly did the right Christian thing.
I hope Rachel is blessed with the best of everything.
She’s too nice to feel that way…….Anyway I would be smiling as well…..He lost his job and got what he deserved…….
She will have a fantastically successful future at CFA!
As I said in an earlier CFA post, that was not a spur of the moment decision on Smith’s part. Much like a DRUNK DRIVER, he chose to get in the car, drive to the bar, bring money, buy drinks, get drunk, and get caught for DWI. IT WAS NO MISTAKE! He just got caught being the A-Hole that he is. The apology was nothing but a “feel sorry for me” rant!
Life lesson learned for Smith.
“Do unto others…” comes to mind.
She is obviously a classy, humble person. The opposite of the person she encountered at the drive-thru.
Poise and grace under fire. Bravo.
I really like her. I think she is really sweet. She handles herself like a true Christian, capable of forgiveness and kindness. Which makes this nasty vulgar aggressive bully look even worse.
She sets a great example for someone like me who would have thrown the water in his face. (Which I would still do, her example notwithstanding.) Sorry.
How many moms across the country, do you think, are pointing to her and telling their unmarried sons “please find someone like HER!”
I would not of been representing the Company very well had it been me..It would of been a whole different video , there may of been charges involved..on my part..
Smith went to Chick-fil-A pre-meditated, with a video, set up to confront the employee. This was not a spur-of-the-moment decision on Smith’s part. He deserves a lot more tham losing his job.
The cliche is that everyone gets their 15 minutes of fame. Not sure if I’ve had mine or not, but if I do, I hope I can use it the way this wonderful person did.
And in her case, I hope she gets a few more “15 minutes.” The world can use a few more like her.
What a classy and gracious young lady. Unfortunately I think she’s vastly outnumbered by jackasses like Smith.
I agree with Chickadee: This woman handled herself in a much better way than I would have, and I’m very proud of her wonderful presense and humility.
Yeah, she’s a better person than I am!
Even the paupers understand forgiveness.
This concept seems to have slipped by our President.
Chik Fil-A must move this woman up to VP of Public Relations. Leaving her at the take out window would be a mistake.
She’s moving back to Orlando to get married next April. Already registered at Crate n Barrel and Target.
She did her parents proud. Of course she would forgive him because by doing so she can forget him and get on with her life. Hope she has a great future with CFA or anywhere she chooses to go.
now this guy is apologizing, the only thing he’s sorry about is he got
fired. He could have just tweeted it to his blog and been as
insignificant as any other yammering Liberal…instead he waited in line
burning fuel, recorded it,all to get in
someones face to feel he ‘accomplished’ something…whoever hired this
clown should be fired also for not seeing how delusional he is in the
