(ST. LOUIS, MO, 12/12/12) — On Thursday, December 13, the St. Louis chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAR-St. Louis), the ACLU-EM and the Law Office of Drew C. Baebler will hold a news conference on the front steps of the 22nd Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri to announce the filing of a religious discrimination suit against the Metropolitan Taxicab Commission (MTC), the City of St. Louis and Whelan Security on behalf of a Muslim taxi driver.

The plaintiff, Raja Naeem, is a St. Louis taxi driver who alleges that he has suffered loss of income, harassment, humiliation, and arrest due to his constitutionally-protected religious attire.
