Ah, media driven perception, gotta love it. He is one of the most narcissisitic, uptight, nasty characters ever to hit the political scene yet he’s “mellow”, man.
Look very carefully at this, although these are truly low information voters, the little more info voters who vote will still be voting mainly on “do I like him/her”, does he/she “care”. The media will pitch whoever is the Democratic candidate as the one who “cares”. So unless you counter that with true message, knowledge and likeability, you can be right and still lose.

Students at the University of Southern California believe President Obama still deserves his Nobel Peace Prize, despite his stated preference for war with Syria.
How did they defend this view? They couldn’t.
In a video interview with Katherine Timpf of Campus Reform, USC students expressed confidence that Obama was still worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize he won just a few months after taking office in 2009.
“I’m a huge Obama fan and yes, I think he does,” said one female student.
But when asked what Obama had done to promote peace, she confessed she couldn’t think of any examples.
Another student said she supported everything that he was doing. His very existence was creating peace, she said.
“I just feel like in general being a good guy, it’s just creating a lot more peace and like, mellow,” she said. “The fact that he is for the people creates peace in and of itself.”
When asked how she could support Obama’s Syrian policies but oppose Bush’s Iraq policies, she justified the contradiction by stating, “Bush, I just didn’t like him.”
A male student said Obama’s foreign policy was particularly praiseworthy. But when asked why, he gave a vague response.
“I feel like he has strengthened diplomatic ties in countries,” he said. “Mostly good-natured intentions.”
