I found this to be a fascinating article on the growing number of Christians in the Arabian peninsula…
ROMA, August 31, 2007 – Three months ago to the day, on May 31, the Holy See established diplomatic relations and exchanged ambassadors with the United Arab Emirates.
Few noted the fact that the United Arab Emirates has the greatest Christian presence of any Islamic country.
And it is a new and growing presence. Exactly the opposite of what is happening in other regions in the Middle East like Iraq, Lebanon, the Holy Land, where Christian communities of very ancient origin actually face extinction.
The United Arab Emirates is a federation of seven emirates – Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm al-Quwain – situated along the middle of the eastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. The capital is Abu Dhabi. Almost all of the citizens belong to the official religion, Islam.
But there are many more immigrants than citizens. Foreigners now make up more than 70 percent of the more than 4 million inhabitants, coming from other Arab countries, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, the Philippines.
More than half of these foreign workers are Christians. Adding up the figures, Christians account for more than 35 percent of the population of the United Arab Emirates. Around a million of them are Catholic. And it’s not only in the UAE – in Saudi Arabia, too, it is estimated that there are already about a million Catholics from the Philippines.
But how do these Christians live in Arab lands ? What does this young, growing Church look like ? What scope for freedom does it have ?
The report that follows responds to these questions. It was published on August 19 in the newspaper of the Italian bishops’ conference, « Avvenire. »

Good article, take the time to read it if you have the time….
The failure rate of Islamic Caliphates is an astounding 100%. Putting the track record of all Islamic, or Muslim theocracy based central governments into context… all have failed because of greed, corruption and indolence. Soon after external resources that are “appropriated” to create, or underwrite a caliphate, greed, corruption and indolence dooms the concept to squalor. A macro-example of the 7th Century concept in the 21st Century is playing out before our eyes in Iran today. Smaller, or micro-examples of “opportunists” creating Caliphates in Afghanistan and attempting to form a Caliphate in Iraq are ongoing.
Consumed with absolute hate of American culture and values, Al Qaeda led by Osama bin Laden attacked America on 9/11/2001, believing that Muslims would defeat the remaining super-power. At the time, al Qaeda was operating out of Afghanistan that was, ostensibly, controlled by the Taleban, or “Islamic-Students.” Very soon, thereafter, Al Qaeda, Osama bin Laden and the Taleban’s nightshirts were aflame and they were doing everything they could to stay out of the sights of the remaining super-power’s gun sights. Many died, many were captured and some successfully hid in the mountains separating Afghanistan and Pakistan, while some al Qaeda adherents returned to their homes in Saudi Arabia.
More than prepared to manipulate the West’s mainstream media and press, radicalized Islamic killers that call themselves “Jihadists” seek to instill terror by committing precise mass murders. Enablers that call themselves “humanists,” or businessmen have paid “Jihadists,” or more aptly, opportunists, to murder, enslave and hijack cargos or, generally, “look-the-other-way” for hundreds of years. Americans, conversely, have dealt over the centuries with Islamic butchers, slave traders and pirates more directly by acknowledging the threat they represent and eradicating them as necessary.
Beset with the “baksheesh,” or extortion mentality that dominates the Middle East and Asia, reasoning must eventually prevail. The masses that live in the tortured lands from Lebanon to India and China must accept that through logical reasoning meaningful change can occur, otherwise, they will be condemned to the wills of their slave-masters. As such, Caliphates are thin veneers used in the name of Allah , or God to feed a monster that promotes ignorance, violence and a distorted interpretation of Islam to benefit a few.
This is the 21st Century, not the 7th Century and the cycle of human exploitation must end.

Trouble in Islamic paradise?….
A protest by Fatah supporters against Hamas rule in the Gaza Strip turned violent Friday when Hamas men began forcefully dispersing the crowd, firing in the air and beating demonstrators and reporters.
Some 20 people were wounded in the clashes, including two French journalists and two children, according to doctors and witnesses.
The violence began at the end of a Fatah prayer meeting held to protest against Hamas, which seized control of the coastal territory in June. A similar protest last Friday also ended in clashes and harassment of journalists.
Fatah had called its supporters to openly hold weekly Friday prayers throughout the Gaza Strip to protest against what they said was persecution of its members in Hamas-controlled mosques.
After hundreds of Fatah supporters finished prayers in Gaza City, a group of worshippers pelted Hamas-controlled buildings with stones and pipe bombs. Some shouted insults at Hamas officials, including Shiites, in reference to the group’s links to Iran.
Hamas men began firing into the air to disperse the crowd. In a frenzy, Hamas security forces then began arresting protesters and taking them away in jeeps, chasing them in the streets and also beating several demonstrators. Associated Press television footage showed several uniformed Hamas men beating an unarmed protester with long sticks.
After the clashes, heavily armed Hamas security agents entered the Associated Press offices in Gaza City and instructed staff not to film or photograph a nearby security building from the balcony without prior permission.

Sad as it may be, but forced marriages are not uncommon in the Islamic world. Al Qaeda, like always, just took it too far…
Iraq’s Sunni tribes began turning against al Qaeda when the largely foreign-run terrorist organization tried to arrange forced marriages with local women to secure their foothold in the country, according to a top counterterrorism adviser to the U.S. coalition in Iraq.
Australian Col. David Kilcullen, who just completed a tour as senior counterinsurgency aide to U.S. commander Gen. David H. Petraeus in Baghdad, said in an extensive analysis that the decision by the Sunni tribes to break with al Qaeda could prove a major — if unanticipated — boost to President Bush’s surge strategy in the country.
With an estimated 30,000 Sunni fighters in Iraq now battling their former al Qaeda allies, "the tribal revolt is arguably the most significant change in the Iraqi operating environment for several years," he added in his entry titled "Anatomy of a Tribal Revolt."

Nothing, and I mean nothing is too petty for Islamists..
ABU-DHABI, August 31- Saudi Arabia’s religious police are insisting that authorities of Medina, one of Islam’s holiest cities, should build separate sidewalks for women, the Kuwaiti Al-Qabas newspaper said Friday.
The country’s Committee for the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice (CPVPV), tasked with enforcing Sharia law, believes men and women should not be allowed to mix on the streets of the Islam’s second holiest place, where the Prophet Muhammad is buried.
The clerical police, or Mutaween, are authorized to arrest unrelated men and women caught socializing, anyone suspected of being homosexual or a prostitute, and to enforce Islamic dress codes.
The Mutaween enforce Islamic female dress codes, ordering women to wear headscarves and abayas, long black dresses covering the whole body except for face, hands and feet. Women are not allowed to leave their houses without their husbands or immediate male relatives.

All of this under the watchful eye of the UN force in South Lebanon…
In an article, the Iranian weekly Sobh-e Sadeq, the mouthpiece of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei circulated among the Revolutionary Guards, has stated that Hizbullah sees itself as part of an Islamic movement striving towards Islamic rule of the world – not just as a Lebanese organization.
It also said that Hizbullah was obeying, politically and religiously, the founder of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Ruholla Khomeini, and now his heir Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khameini, and that therefore Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah kisses the hand of Khamenei and presents himself to him as his soldier.
In another article, the weekly stated that Iran’s significant progress in ballistic missile technology will force its enemies to be more cautious in their contacts with it and will reduce the risk to which Iran is exposed.

Big thanks to South Korea for caving in to the Taliban, this will continue to happen thanks to Korea…
SOUTH Korea paid $A2.46 million to Taliban extremists in Afghanistan to secure the release of 19 hostages.
Citing unidentified sources in Afghanistan, a Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun said Afghan mediators persuaded South Korea’s ambassador in Kabul that there was no other way to end the six-week kidnap ordeal.
"Two million dollars were paid to release all 19 people," an Afghan mediator was quoted as telling the influential Japanese daily.
The Asahi Shimbun said both a South Korean official and a Taliban spokesman contacted by the newspaper denied any payment.
The Taliban, who earlier killed two of the hostages, freed the 19 Christian aid workers this week after South Korea promised to withdraw its military from Afghanistan as planned and ban missionary groups from the Islamic country.
South Korean officials have not commented on whether a payment was made to any party to help secure the release.
Asked about the Asahi report, a presidential spokesman said today that there had been no discussions with the Taliban apart from those on the troop withdrawal and the missionary issue.
The foreign ministers of Afghanistan and Canada have criticised South Korea for negotiating directly with the insurgents, saying it could embolden them.

Jimmy seems like he’s going to give the nod to Pony Boy. Edwards would pick up the coveted, anti-semitic, anti-American, disgrace of an ex-president endorsement…
AMERICUS, Georgia (AP) – Former President Jimmy Carter welcomed Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards to South Georgia on Wednesday, embracing the fellow Southerner as a kindred spirit on poverty and the environment.
Carter and Edwards shared the stage at Carter’s alma mater, Georgia Southwestern State University. Carter stopped short of endorsing the former U.S. senator from North Carolina but called him "a candidate whom I really admire."
"I can say without equivocation that no one who is running for president has presented anywhere near as comprehensive and accurate a prediction of what our country ought to do in the field of environmental quality, in the field of healthcare for those who are not presently insured, for those who struggle with poverty," Carter said.

Shocker, she is from one of the most liberal cities (Cambridge, MA) in a very liberal state…
CAMBRIDGE, MASS. – Islam is often perceived as a potential threat to democratization. Justifications for this view are grounded in the common view that for Islam there’s no separation between politics and religion.
In fact, recent polls show that Muslims praise democracy as the best political system. (absolutely false -ed.) At the same time, they acknowledge the importance that sharia, or Islamic law, plays in their lives. This is where misunderstanding often occurs. Sharia does not refer to actual laws but to a set of moral principles and norms that guide Muslims in their personal and social choices.
In the same vein, most Muslims living in Europe and the US appreciate the democratic and secular nature of the states where they reside. (they have a funny way of showing it -ed.) With minor exceptions, there is no real attempt by Muslims in the West to change Western political regimes and to establish Islamic states.
This raises legitimate concerns about the recognition and freedom of other religious minorities within a social system dominated by Islamic references. Western politicians and intellectuals must acknowledge processes of modernization and democratization that include Islamic references, (dhimmi thinking in a nutshell -ed.) while striving to protect religious and cultural minorities and guarantee freedom of expression. Without these safeguards, it is impossible to envision any democracy, Islamic or otherwise.

CAIR (of course). The ADL’s release of CAIR’s Executive Director giving a speech under a huge Hezbollah flag seals the deal…
The Council on American-Islamic Relations has once again squandered an opportunity to unequivocally condemn terrorists – such as Hezbollah and Hamas – by name and to address its past affiliation with the Islamic Association for Palestine, whose ideology is rooted in virulent anti-Semitism.
The August 29, 2007, "Open Letter from CAIR to ADL" is yet another weary tactic by CAIR’s leadership to divert attention from its troubling roots and disingenuous record. CAIR Chairman Parvez Ahmed and Executive Director Nihad Awad continue to willfully ignore legitimate questions. Attacking ADL will not make the real issues go away.
An organization that purportedly seeks to enter into dialogue with ADL should firmly denounce the anti-Semitic rhetoric and support for terror organizations that regularly occur at rallies, instead of sponsoring and joining them.

Pedophilia is rampant is Mosques around the world and it seems to be tolerated, probably due to the severe repression of any sexual feelings before marriage. As with all stories like this, Taliban rule no.19 applies. I’m sure in the US, the ACLU would jump at the opportunity to defend these perverts…
ALI KHAN was sitting at a meeting in a Glasgow mosque, discussing a pedophilia assault in a house of God, when he realised he had to take matters into his own hands. A Koranic teacher had been accused of sexually assaulting a young girl under his charge, and Khan, a 47-year-old property tycoon, was sitting alongside a handful of other senior Muslim figures in the community discussing what should or should not be done with the man.
"Horror of horrors," says Khan over the telephone from his office in Dubai, "what was suggested was that the alleged abuser should be allowed to remain in the mosque."
The alleged paedophile saved the mosque from compromising itself by disappearing. "How do we know where he is now?" asks Khan, still distressed about the event. "The police were never involved. It was another one of those hushed-up things."
Din, a member of the mosque’s management committee, had a previous conviction for indecent assault. The boys he assaulted were just nine and 10. The first sex attack took place during Ramadan, while leading members of the city’s Asian community worshipped nearby.
The police were not informed, and eight months later a worshipper at the mosque caught Din abusing a second child. Din had lured the boy to a changing room under the pretence that they were going to play football.

One of the most effective ways Islam protects itself is by intimidation in the form death or jail if one decides to leave the "religion," and I use that term lightly…
Beirut (AsiaNews) – Islam protects itself against conversions by putting apostates in prison or by killing them. But its obsession with conversion includes a series of privileges it claims for itself. So much so that in many Muslim countries, even those that are supposedly secular, the right to promote the Islamic faith is taken for granted and is not enshrined in law. Conversely, the right to promote any other religion is considered de facto and de jure unacceptable.
Islamic propaganda is part of the state’s mandate. In Egypt for example public institutions disseminate songs, prayers, movies and written material that praise Islam and denigrate Christianity. Inevitably this favours conversions to Islam. By contrast, Christian propaganda (tabshīr) is banned by law.
Recently in Algeria, a new law was approved that condemns anyone promoting the Christian faith and anyone who converts to Christianity. Of course, some might say that this kind of law is directed only at Protestant proselytising. True! But Muslims proselytise as well? Should the law not be the same for everyone?
Saudi Arabia is undoubtedly the country where double standards in matter of religion are the most glaring. One example: Saudi Arab Airlines’ website explicitly warns its passengers that Bibles, crucifixes, and any other non-Muslim religious symbol are prohibited on board. If any are found they are confiscated. Another example is when two pieces of wood happen to end up across one another. However inadvertently that may have come about, the resulting cross becomes ipso facto a religious symbol and police are known to have ordered people who happened to be nearby to step on them.
Anti-Christian propaganda is also found in how words are used. In Arabic Christians are called Massihi. In Arabia they are also called Salībi, crusaders, and Nasrami, Nazarenes. Interestingly, at the time of the Crusades Christians were by and large referred to as Faranj or Franks. But the most commonly used word today is kuffar, unbelievers who must be killed. For the past 30 or so years, its use has increasingly spread around the Muslim world.
By some estimates, the number of Christians who convert to Islam in Egypt is around 10,000, usually prompted by practical reasons like the need to divorce, or to marry a Muslim woman (or man), or to get a job. Rarely does faith come into the picture.
More recently there has been some talk about thousands of Muslim converts to Christianity. Protestant missionary centres, based in the United States (the Zwemer Institute* has been mentioned), are said to offer money, apartments, passports, etc in exchange for conversion to Christianity. Such charges have often found their way into the Muslim press in relation to the Hegazi affair.

Quite a few people, myself included, believe that Islam is more of a political ideology, like communism for example, than a religion. Not convinced? Read this…
Islam divides humanity into two groups: Muslims and kafirs (unbelievers). The doctrine that applies to Muslims is cultural, legal, and religious. The doctrine that applies to kafirs is political. Sixty-seven percent of the Meccan Koran and 51 percent of the Medinan Koran is political. Even the concept of hell is political, not religious. Of the 146 parts of the Koran that refer to hell, only 4 percent deal with morality – such as murder or theft. But 96 percent refer to people who are hellbound if they do not agree with Islam’s prophet Muhammad – an intellectual and political position.
Muhammad preached the religion of Islam for 13 years and garnered 150 followers. Then, in Medina, Islam became political, and through jihad, he became the first ruler of all Arabia. Islam succeeded in spreading across the globe largely because it became a form of politics.
The Koran says in 14 verses that a Muslim is not the friend of the kafir. This is pure dualism. The entire world is divided between Islam and the kafirs. The dualism of the Koran has no universal statements about humanity except that every person must submit to political Islam.
Ethics is the membrane between religion and politics. Islam has two sets of ethics. One set is for Muslims and the other set is for kafirs; this is dualistic ethics. A Muslim should not harm another Muslim, but the kafir can be robbed, killed, or cheated to advance Islam. Islamic political dualism is hidden by religion. The "good" verses of the Meccan Koran cover the verses of jihad in the Medinan Koran. Thus religious Islam shields political Islam from examination.
Some Muslims point to Turkey and claim that Islam can have a modern secular government. But authentic Islam and authentic secularism are contradictions. Secularism is made possible only on a foundation of a separation of religion and the state, freedom of conscience, and a universal ethical and legal system. But Muhammad integrated government and religion. Islam by definition means total submission to the will of Allah. And the dualistic logic of the Koran designates one set of ethics and laws for kafirs and another set for believers. Therefore, political Islam precludes secularism.

Great article from Mario Loyola, currently embedded with the Marine Expeditionary Force in western Iraq…
OPERATION LIGHTNING HAMMER in Diyala province–part of Operation Phantom Strike–has flushed scores and perhaps hundreds of insurgents out of the Diyala River Valley northeast of Baqubah. At the end of last week, some al Qaeda fighters "counter-attacked"; not against the Coalition of course, but against innocent civilians. Initial reports suggested an undaunted insurgency. But as the details of the story emerged, they suggested quite the opposite.
Many of the al Qaeda fleeing Operation Lightning Hammer have headed south along the seam formed by Coalition forces moving in strength between Baqubah and Baghdad–the way west was blocked by a screen of air assault squadrons, and the way north was blocked by the troops heading down from the north end of the valley.
A little over a week ago, some of those fleeing were stopped near Kanan, a town several miles west of Baqubah, by what the military describes as "concerned local nationals"–basically, one of the neighborhood watch groups that are springing up all over Diyala province.
Unfortunately for the insurgents, the local tribal sheiks had recently sworn allegiance to the central government, alliance to the Coalition, and enmity to al Qaeda. A firefight ensued and the al Qaeda group was hit hard, reportedly losing some 15 fighters in the engagement.
Several days later, around sunrise on the morning of August 23, the al Qaeda fighters returned, armed for revenge.
According to their reports, this is what happened:
In coordinated attacks that began around 6:15 a.m., al Qaeda fighters struck at two small villages outside Kanan. The attacks lasted approximately three hours. About 25 gunmen attacked the village of Sheik Thar to the east of Kanan, while about 18 attacked the village of Sheik Younnis to the west.
During the attack, ten villagers were killed and eleven more injured, while 14 civilians were kidnapped–nine women and five children. The kidnap victims were related to Sheik Younnis, who was killed in the attacks. An Iraqi Army checkpoint was attacked, also near the village of Sheik Younnis. A mosque was also damaged (no word on the extent of the damage, but I was told that it was still standing–contrary to initial reports). In addition, two houses and an Iraqi Police checkpoint were destroyed by explosives.
The villagers fought back, joined eventually by Iraqi Police. Local sources claimed many al Qaeda killed, but no word on how many; according to Sheik Thar, who survived the attacks, Al Qaeda loaded their dead onto trucks. There is no word on the fate of the hostages.
Incidents such as this, horrifying as they are, need to be seen in their true light. The attackers of the Kanan incident did their cause no good at all. According to the military, many villagers told the visiting brigade commander that al Qaeda’s brutality would only stiffen their resolve and cause other nearby villages to stand up against them.

Goes to show, it takes very little to start up a jihadi cell, one of our best weapons has to be homeland security…
On August 26, Islamist websites posted an item titled "How to Join Al-Qaeda." It is not clear when the item was written; it was produced by the website Al-Thabitoun ‘Ala Al-’Ahd, which is affiliated with Al-Qaeda in Egypt and is currently inactive.
The following are excerpts from the item:
"You feel that you want to carry a weapon, fight, and kill the occupiers, and that it is our duty to call for jihad as much as to call for prayer… All that is required is a firm personal decision to fulfill this obligation, and participation in jihad and the resistance…
"Do you really have to meet Osama bin Laden in person in order to become a jihad fighter? Do you have to be recognized by Al-Qaeda as one of its members to become a jihad fighter? If Al-Qaeda commanders should be killed, would the jihad be eliminated? What would you do if Al-Qaeda did not exist today? How is Osama bin Laden different from you? – [yet] he managed to establish the world jihad organization. Who provided training to Osama bin Laden and Abdallah ‘Azzam when they went to Afghanistan to become the first Arab jihad fighters?
"The answers to these questions are the following: I don’t have to meet Osama bin Laden to become a jihad fighter. Moreover, there is no need to meet even one jihad fighter to become one. Neither do I need recognition from Al-Qaeda…
"As the first step, imagine that Al-Qaeda does not exist and that you are interested [in waging] jihad – what would you do in this case?… If you know any young people – whether one, two, or more – in your area, mosque, or university who are as dedicated and enthusiastic about jihad as you are, come to an understanding with them, and together form a cell whose objective is to help Islam and only Islam…
"At first, your cell should have no more than five members, all absolutely trustworthy… The cell must have a commander and a shura council… The commander must clearly realize that he is Osama bin Laden to the cell members…
"Each cell should have a source of funding… When you have several members, you will [surely] find the funds for your cell… Then you should buy weapons, make plans, brainstorm, plot your plans, monitor your enemy’s important objectives, and study its moves. Set a goal; for example, assassinating the American ambassador – is it so difficult? Is it [indeed] difficult for someone who has already crushed America in her home?
"What is the difference between you and the hero of the New York attack, Muhammad Atta, who planned an action which even today shakes the world every time it is mentioned? Assassinating the ambassador takes no more than a gun and a bullet. One could disguise oneself as a peddler in order to tail [the target], which shouldn’t cost a lot of money…

This is a letter from the Muslim News in response to an attack on Islam as a violent religion. The author is trying to dispel that "myth" but he actually makes a great case for the hyper-violent religion known as Islam….
Sir, Individuals, not religions, carry out inhuman acts. Islam is a religion of peace, accepted and practiced by 1.5 billion people worldwide. It is the fastest-growing religion in the world, and if it was what some critics claim, why should the people from all walks of life from around the world keep embracing Islam? Where is the sword now? In Islam, a person has the right to defend himself, his family, his country or his neighbours, which justifies the resistance being offered by the people of Afghanistan, Bosnia, Chechnya, Iraq, Kashmir and Palestine, to attacks on their soils by the so called liberators, who are actually the occupiers. The Qur’an clearly states that if a person saves one life, it’s as if he saved humanity, and if a person kills one human being, it’s as if he killed humanity.
What is happening in the enslaved Muslim countries is a natural reaction to occupation, bombings, killing and terrorizing of innocent civilians (children, old men and women), rapes, in addition to looting of resources, national antiques and artefacts, above all destruction of property by the occupiers. Terror breeds terror. We assure those who bash Islam that if there was no occupation in this world by foreign invaders, there would be no resistance the, so-called terror.
Yours,
Dr M A Qazi

Holy farken batshit, the ACLU is defending a Christian from Muslim persecution. Now I’ve officially seen everything…
Lawyers for an Egyptian man on Thursday were trying to convince a federal judge that "diplomatic assurances" are not enough to prevent him from being tortured upon his return to Egypt, where he was convicted in absentia of murder nearly a decade ago.
U.S. District Judge Thomas I. Vanaskie heard arguments from attorneys for Sameh Khouzam, a Coptic Christian who alleges that Egyptian officials tortured him because he refused to convert to Islam.
Federal officials moved to deport Khouzam earlier this year after receiving assurances from Egyptian diplomats that he would not be tortured.
Arguing for Khouzam’s release, lawyers at the American Civil Liberties Union wrote in a brief last week that Egypt’s assurances are not trustworthy.
The U.S. government "does not dispute Egypt’s record of consistently engaging in torture, Egypt’s past torture of Mr. Khouzam, or Egypt’s prior violations of diplomatic assurances," the lawyers wrote.
The government contends that Vanaskie lacks jurisdiction to hear the case and must defer to the executive branch’s determination that the assurances were sufficient.
Khouzam was arrested when his plane landed in New York in February 1998 and spent the next eight years in American prisons. A federal judge granted him a "deferral of removal" in 2000 under the U.N. Convention Against Torture, an international treaty that bans deportation to a country where torture is likely.
Khouzam, 38, won a 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decision in 2004 and was released last year. Federal immigration officials took him into custody again in May.
Khouzam’s lawyers say he was detained, beaten and sodomized after he refused to convert to Islam.
"Friendly attempts to convert him became unfriendly attempts to convert him," Monique Beadle, an attorney for the World Organization for Human Rights USA, one of the groups representing Khouzam, said Thursday.
Khouzam was beaten so badly that he had to be taken to a hospital, she said. He escaped from the hospital, went straight to the airport and got on a plane to the United States. While he was in the air, Egyptian officials called U.S. officials and said Khouzam was wanted for killing a woman, and the U.S. canceled his visa.
