During the color guard presentation of the American flag, a spectator yelled across the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum, “Put your hand above your heart, Glover!”
The five-time Emmy nominee told The Salt Lake Tribune after the ceremony that he doesn’t typically cover his heart during flag ceremonies and he meant no disrespect.
“I was listening to the national anthem and paying attention,” he said. “I probably wasn’t the only one in there who didn’t put a hand over their heart.”
The intermittent booing throughout the graduation, which was largely overpowered by clapping and cheering, didn’t appear to rattle the stage and big-screen star. In his public comments and actions, Glover never acknowledged the behavior dozens of fresh graduates called “stupid,” “rude” and “disrespectful.” Ultimately, Glover was rewarded with a standing ovation by the majority of the large crowd.

At least he has the courage of his convictions, unlike Obama, who refused to put his hand over his heart when he first ran for president. However, his handlers convinced him of the wisdom in dissembling and now the POS POTUS pays hand & lip service to the flag as he does everything possible to destroy everything it represents.

When my daughter graduated they has the oldest graduate give the speech he was in his mid-30’s and did nothing but bitch about the wars and Bush. I fucking got up and left and made sure this punk saw me give him the finger. I saw him outside and told him what a fucking tard he was and gave him and his father a chance to step up. Oh yeah this is nothing new. WHen I was in ROTC I had an instructor who forbid me from wearing my uniform in class I did anyway and he gave me my only D in college. He said it scare him and that was in 1979 its always been that way
