The victim, identified as Muhammad Ibrahim, was killed in the Hameed Qala area of Syedabad district on Thursday, said the governor’s spokesman, Shahidullah Shahid.
Ibrahim, a resident of Haiderkhel village, was kidnapped by Taliban militants earlier this week and his headless body was found on Thursday in the area.
The gruesome murder followed the Taliban’s shocking execution by hanging of a seven-year-old boy earlier this month.
The only person ever to see peace in Afghanistan was Genghis Khan. That was because he killed every male Afghan above the age of 12. And even that wasn’t a permanent solution.
