Scott Brown (R-INO) Announces Support to Repeal DADT, Reid Now Has 61 Votes…

Who cares if Marine Corps Commandant Gen. James Amos has said it will be a “deadly distraction,” RINO Brown can now show Mass residents how “progressive” he is…

(ABC News)- Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown today voiced his support for a stand-alone repeal of the military’s Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy, bringing the bill one vote over the 60-vote threshold that it will need to reach if and when the Senate votes on the measure in the coming weeks.

…Brown’s backing means that – on paper – supporters of the repeal have 61 senators in favor of the bill. On Wednesday Republicans Olympia Snowe of Maine and Lisa Murkowski both announced their support for the stand-alone repeal. The House passed the clean repeal on Wednesday and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has vowed to bring it to a vote in the Senate before the end of the year.

However, Reid has warned that bringing the bill to a vote in the Senate is not an issue of support, but rather of time. With just over a week before Christmas, the Senate is only now kicking off debate on the START nuclear treaty and a massive $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill. It will likely be early next week before the Senate wraps up work on those two measures – and numerous GOP senators have voiced stern opposition to both bills, preferring instead to fund the government into early next year and go home for the holidays. That leaves little time for the Senate to pass the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell repeal.

I feel so embarrassed I ever had faith in this guy. I got a sinking feeling in my stomach we were in trouble with him during his victory speech when he didn’t thank the Tea Party for helping him get elected.

That was before they knew him. He is really a full fledged demomarxist. The only big bill he stood against was Obama Care and he said he wouldnt support a repeal of it.

The MSM loves these RINO’s. They know they will either lose or at worse, they will more or less tow the “progressive” agenda. These Palin haters need to wake up. Trying to push these RINO’s doesnt do any good for the country and we are proven right time and time again that these RINO’s are traitorous dirt bags.

When the Scott Brown mania hit, I felt guilty for not sending him any dough, but I just had a feeling about him. He never seemed very effusive about the very Tea Party folks that moved heaven and earth to get him elected. The degree of reserve he showed indicated he was holding something back — his true inclinations and ideology.

I have never before given $$ to any candidate before Sarah Palin. I have no regrets on that score. I have never given to another. I would’ve gladly donated to Allen West, but I’ve been out of work too long (not collecting unemployment) to justify it.

If you missed the news, he was one of the SIX SOLE RINOs to vote against making the Bush tax rates permanent.

Let the search begin for a true conservative for Sen. Brown’s soon-to-be former seat.

I doubt Armageddon would reign down if gays were allowed to marry or serve in the military. i don’t want DADT repealed/gay marriage forced on either population (civilian or military) but if they eventually deem it okay i don’t have a problem with it.

Jesus really doesn’t seem like he would have cared too much about 2 gays getting married, i don’t know why so many people worry about it. Who cares where your neighbor is hiding putting his hotdog as long as it involves 2 consenting adults?

I’m certainly aware of the slippery slope, but i’m also aware of the hypocrisy displayed by many conservatives who claim to want the government out of their lives as much as possible, but then expect that same government to run around and legislate morality to everyone. What business of mine is it who my neighbor is sleeping with? As long as my family and i are not harmed in anyway i really don’t care.

I also don’t give 2 shits what a group of consenting adults do, but that doesn’t mean i think that a group of people should be allowed to enter into a marriage/union that gives them certain rights usually saved for a marriage between 2 people.

However, do i think that 2 people, regardless of what sex those 2 ADULTS are, have the right to marry and allow their significant other get all the perks of what usually comes with a marrige- yes.

Homosexuality is an abomination. Whether you look at it from a religious standpoint or just from a practical standpoint. When you mainstream or normalize perversion and abnormality, you are inviting cultural destruction. This ‘live and let live’ crap is going to kill us as sure as political correctness will. Just because you think they’re ‘not hurting anyone’ doesn’t mean that they aren’t harming their culture. In that way, they’re harming all of us.

Frankly, i think it’s a little weird that people spend so much time worrying about what their neighbors do for sex- who gives a fuck?

Also, how many preachers/priests have there been yapping on sunday after sunday telling everyone of the “abomination” of homos, only to find out later that they have been butt bandits themselves for years? I think it’s safe to say there’s been A LOT….

    Dave.

It has nothing to do what they are doing in the bedroom. Its about the left using the military as a social experiment. If men cant shower with women, why do gays get to shower with those of the same gender.

And you kinda dodged the whole polygamy thing. You ok with 3 consenting adults or more getting married?

I agree that the left should not be able to force on the military their view of what should and should not happen. Again, if the military would ever agree to support it then so would i, if they don’t then i don’t.
But some people act as if the world will come crashing down if it does and i don’t really see their logic. We serve with the brits who allow gays to serve openly and we are still kicking towel heads’ asses all over the planet. We haven’t been weakened or lost our strength at all because of it.

As for the polygamy thing, i don’t care if a group of 3,4,5 or 20 people get together to fuck each other or be in some of relationship with one another. What i don’ support would be marriage of those individuals as a group. I don’t think allowing 2 guys or girls to marry is comparable to polygamy. I think that 2 people in a relationship should be allowed the same rights as everyone else.

We can agree to disagree. I could have used your help over at politico today arguing with the obamabots about Palin. It was pretty fun. Anytime that worthless website throws up a story about Palin it’s easily a 1,000+ comments.

Anything that disrupts the order, discipline and cohesiveness of the military is wrong I don’t care what it is, it hurts moral and endangers our men and women be it PC or gays in the military. Their strenght has been in maintaining a different standard not found in civilian life. This has nothing to do with acceptance of gay lifestyle and everything to do with weakening our military. It’s been going on since with 70s with affirmative action placing women in positions for which they were not qualified or suitable. Until then it was the closest thing to an organization where people advanced according to ability, not color, and everyone was equal.
