Obama Throwing His Union Goons Another Bone, Proposes New Regulation Mandating Businesses Notify Workers of Their Right to Unionize…

A token of his appreciation for pumping in over $100 million into Dem campaigns during the midterms….

Via Mark Hemingway:

The pro-union regulatory assault continues. The National Labor Relations Board is now proposing new regulations requiring workers to be notified of their right to unionize (PDF link):

The National Labor Relations Board has submitted to the Federal Register a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, which provides for a 60-day comment period. The rule would require employers to notify employees of their rights under the National Labor Relations Act.

As the Notice states, the Board “believes that many employees protected by the NLRA are unaware of their rights under the statute. The intended effects of this action are to increase knowledge of the NLRA among employees, to better enable the exercise of rights under the statute, and to promote statutory compliance by employers and unions.”

Private-sector employers (including labor organizations) whose workplaces fall under the NLRA would be required to post the employee rights notice where other workplace notices are typically posted. If an employer communicates with employees primarily by email or other electronic means, the notice would be posted electronically as well. The notice would be available from the agency’s regional offices and could also be downloaded from the NLRB website.

How many people does it take to meet the criteria for a union?

    Two?

If the two conspire to rob the company blind, can he not be terminated when one is caught (with irrefutable evidence)? Does the matter have to go through arbitration?

Why would a single employee of a company not have those same protections? Why could he not make up his own rules?

Why do RICO laws not apply to union activity? Is it not also a protection racket?

Hopefully, the next session on Congress will finally realize that 0bama has been illegally usurping their power through his use of executive orders and regulations and do something about it, like cutting off all funding to the EPA, NLRB, etc.

Today has been infuriating…this just adds to the stew pot.

I wished I could twitch my nose and make this Nov. ’12 already…stomaching what these bastards are doing is getting mighty hard to take much more.

Um… don’t we have a right to free association in these United States? If the public schools are doing their jobs, should all attendees — i.e. the majority of the population — know of this right?

Anyone notice how all the new “regulations” are being done “outside” of Congress? EPA rules, FCC net takeover, NLRB pushing union bidding.

This is all prep for a Repub dominated House – it will be interesting to see what Repubs stand up for the people of the United States and uphold the Constitution … and who does not.

Expect Brown, Snow, Collins and Murcowski to continue as flaming RINOs.

This is an attempt to throw cold water on our attempt to force the Ohio governement to pass a right to work law like Texas. Then union shop or not it is your decsicion to be a dipshit or not.

What would you do differently if you wanted to attack America? Everything this administration has done kills jobs, some just more than others.
