Whoa: Senate Deal to Fund Federal Government Doesn’t Include Any Money to Implement ObamaCare…

Christmas is coming a few days early this year…
Comments & pings are closed.WASHINGTON—A Senate deal to fund the federal government until early March doesn’t include money to enact the health-care overhaul or stepped up regulation of Wall Street, boosting Republican efforts to curb key elements of President Barack Obama’s domestic agenda.
Democrats last week sought $1 billion to expand federal agencies to cope with health-care demands as part of a proposed $1.1 trillion spending bill. That measure died after Senate Republicans closed ranks against it under pressure from conservative activists.
The doomed budget plan also included spending increases sought by Democratic leaders for two agencies granted new responsibilities by the Dodd-Frank financial-regulation law, passed in response to the Wall Street crisis of 2008-2009.
The $250 billion deal to pay for the government until March 4, which is expected to come to the Senate floor for a vote Tuesday, freezes spending for most government programs at 2010 levels. The deal is expected to clear the Senate and House before current government-spending authority expires that day.

Good nite! This does not include obamacare and yet the budget through March is 1.6B more than 2010 appropriations?
Does this include the multi million dollar earmark for reparations?
Obama knows his program is going down. I have a Doctors appointment in a couple of hours with an absolutely awesome Doctor. I am so glad that I will be able to continue visiting his practice.
I have been concern that if the Blowjoba Care goes into effect that many people will have very limited options, plus the government would have much more control over your personal life and access to your personal finances.
This is America. Not England, Russia or Cuba.
So this means the money that’s going to be taken out of people’s paychecks “for Obamacare” starting in January is nothing more than a boldface tax after all? Assuming the money’s still going to be subtracted from everyone’s payroll, but nothing is allotted for Obamacare, is it correct to assume that money will go into the general fund, or will it still be aimed at this health care disaster? $250+/month from every working American is still a lot of money to fund their agenda, even if congress doesn’t provide a separate allotment to push it along.
It’s definitely not time to celebrate just yet…
Finally some good news. Anymore I brace myself for a read on WeaselZippers. Feel good news is rare and appreciated.
Bring on the Freshman Teas Party congress. Kick some ass and take names.

I think it fits right in with this here discussion, don’t you?
