Lisa Murkowski the Lone Republican Senator Who Voted for DADT, START, DREAM and Tax-Cut Deal…

RINO MVP…

(Politico) — Lisa Murkowski isn’t gunning down caribou on national TV like that other famous Alaskan, but the Republican lawmaker is going rogue in the Senate just weeks after staging the most stunning back-from-the-dead political win of the 2010 cycle.

Murkowski is already showing a fierce independent streak, becoming the only Republican to cast votes on all four items on President Barack Obama’s wish list: a repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell,” a tax-cut compromise, the START deal and cloture for the DREAM Act.

The lame-duck votes capped a strange political odyssey for the Alaska Republican — one that started Aug. 31 when she conceded the GOP primary to tea-party-backed Joe Miller, continued when she resigned her leadership job in September and ended when she waged Alaska’s first successful statewide write-in bid to retain her seat. (See: The ABC’s of Murkowski’s write-in bid)

Now, she heads back to the Senate with a fresh six-year term without owing much to either her home state party establishment or her Washington leadership.

Murkowski’s willingness to defy Republican top brass after a bitter fight to keep her seat may mark a pivotal point in her career as she emerges as a real maverick foil to Sarah Palin, the conservative idol who put Alaska politics on the national map. And while conservatives who helped oust Murkowski from the GOP ticket in Alaska may howl about her being a “Republican In Name Only,” Murkowski could enjoy a powerful perch as a much-sought-after moderate in an almost evenly divided Senate.

    Problem solved.

Of course she stole the election. Do you really think there were that many correctly spelled write in votes for Murkowski, even after flooding the airwaves with the correct spelling of her name?

Princess Lisa is also the first US Senator that was ever handed the job by daddy. At least the Kennedy family pretended to have elections run.

Lisa is now bought at paid for by the union thugs and special interests. I guess the question is who is she going to caucus with? By her votes here, I would guess she might as well change her party affiliation to Dem. Maybe 0bama gave her a nice sloppy kiss for her loyalty.

By the way, she’s an excellent example of something conservatives better figure out in future races:

There are a large amount of RINO voters who call themselves “Republican” but will vote for Marxists like Queen Lisa and the Beard in Delaware, because they hate conservatives.

Thry are our Fifth Column, and we better figure that we can get close to all the conservatives with a conservative candidate, but a Much Lower pecentage of the RINOs (50%). It is better to consider RINO voters as independents when polling.

After Crist, Spector and now with these last squishy clingers you would think it would be obvious to the powers that be in the Republican Party establishment that an infiltration of Democrats posing as Republicans has occured over the last 10-15 years.

Candidates that are truly Democrats at heart but pose as Republicans knowing full well that is the only way they could be elected.

So, when you hear that the party is no longer inclusive, realize that this is nothing more than a leftist tactic to enable this infiltration to continue.

Take back your heart and soul Republican Party or you will find that instead of being a foil to the Democratic Party you will be nothing more than a minor impediment to the socialist agenda they wish to impose. An impediment that only serves to slow the inevitable progress that is this creeping tyranny.

Just one more reason to shorten the term of senators from the current 6 years to 2 years.

Barring the repeal of the 17th Amendment, this is the second best solution toward forcing our senators to respond to the public. 6 years in office for a corrupt politician – 2 years longer than the president him or herself simply doesn’t work with elected instead of appointed senators.

Unfortunately, the only effective solution to this problem is the repeal of the 17th Amendment. That would require a massive public relations and education effort and a way to force the senate and the house to approve that amendment.

Time to hit the “reset button” on congress, the administration and the judiciary.

Time to prosecute every government official for violating their Oath of Office.

Here are the laws. Article II, Section 1, “Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

4 USC 101 – “Every member of a State legislature, and every executive and judicial officer of a State, shall, before he proceeds to execute the duties of his office, take an oath in the following form, to wit: I, A B, do solemnly swear that I will support the Constitution of the United States.”

4 USC 102 – “Such oath may be administered by any person who, by the law of the State, is authorized to administer the oath of office; and the person so administering such oath shall cause a record or certificate thereof to be made in the same manner, as by the law of the State, he is directed to record or certify the oath of office.”

Each and every State has, in their State Constitution, the same requirements.

Oath of Office must be FILED in the correct office PRIOR to assuming the duties of the office. Not later, not before, and must be administered by someone who also complies with the requirement to FILE PRIOR to assuming the DUTIES of the office.

Which means that the verbal taking of the oath is a verbal contract, not enforceable. Only a written contract between those taking the Oath and The People who entrusted the management of the government corporation to that individual is enforceable. IF they file it late, it is, as with filing your IRS Return, TOO late. At that point, it becomes a felony.

Then, if that individual performs any act or duty of their office, no matter how well intended, it is a fact of law that with each act, they have committed one felony count.

Then, if they willingly fail to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, they have committed sedition, treason, high crimes and misdemeaners.

Now do you all understand the deadly seriousness of the Oath?

It applies to EVERY person who is appointed or elected to ANY government office and indeed, to EVERY person paid by the government, or in the case of individuals appointed by the courts to be unpaid, pro tem judges, masters or special masters, they must, by law (although it is routinely flouted and ignored) file an individual Oath prior to assuming their duties as well. It does not matter if they are paid or unpaid (pro bono), they must take and file an Oath each and every individual time they assume those temporary or unpaid duties of that position. The same applies every time they are promoted or demoted. Without a properly taken and FILED Oath, they lose their power, authority, jurisdiction and most importantly, their IMMUNITY from prosecution.

Nest year, we should all redouble our efforts to have these assholes thrown out of office.

I wonder if Miller is watching Murkowski’s filing of her new Oath of Office? There is no “carry over”. A new Oath must be taken and FILED in the proper office “prior to assuming the duties of the office” for each office or duty undertaken, meaning each reelection. The one she took years ago is invalid. And Miller, as the harmed party, has the legal standing to sue. She would be the “Defendant” and he would be the “Relator” in the paperwork, which is the Writ of Quo Warranto.

Look it up on the Internet if you don’t believe me.

Why would the Native Corps and peoples support the guy who wants to end Federal funding? The Bush thrives on Federal money. All of AK thrives on Federal money.

“Our election board did every thing it could to get her elected.”

The point is that Murpollock appears as a small minded, petty, corrupt little tyrant who is just paying back Republicans for their snub of her who voted vindictively rather than in the best interests of the country.

Your senator may represent some majority of Alaskans but that’s not what senators are supposed to do. Call me an idealist, but despite the fact that they’re popularly elected, they’re SUPPOSED to represent the interests of the STATE, not the people.

She’s doing neither and is therefore seen as a POS, corrupt, vindictive RINO.

    Get it?

  42. Rupaula says:
    December 23, 2010 at 6:30 pm

You see it as snubbing, I and a bunch of others see it as voting the way her constituents who voted her in want. It is independents and conservative dems that elected her. She won with a majority of the vote. McAdams, the Dem, took 27%. This is actually a pretty middle of the road and/or libertarian state.

Also, she represents a state where 1/3 of the jobs come from federal money. The best thing for the state is federal money. And what is a state without the people?

  43. Dawg says:
    December 23, 2010 at 9:10 pm

She plays politics like the good old days, just run into the outer villages
spend a lot of money and you have a whole village voting for you….
Do this enough and you got the election in the bag along with all the federal contractors on the dole you can’t miss….

This is one election that were clearly bought and paid for by daddy and his
    band of merry crooks…..
Although most of the rotten apples run on the democrat ticket, that does not
mean they give two hoots as to what letter follows their name as long as the
    end justifies the means……
Mrs. Palin had this lady pegged from the get go, she new after working with
good ol’ daddy that Miss. Lisa didn’t fall for from the tree of corruption….

To Mr. Millers defense, this is not the first time someone lost an election from
fraud and it want be the last, just hate that he could not figure it out before
it was to late…The honest people elected him in the primary and the politics
and money beat him for the seat…..
