Britain’s winter ends tomorrow with further indications of a striking environmental change: snow is starting to disappear from our lives.
Sledges, snowmen, snowballs and the excitement of waking to find that the stuff has settled outside are all a rapidly diminishing part of Britain’s culture, as warmer winters — which scientists are attributing to global climate change — produce not only fewer white Christmases, but fewer white Januaries and Februaries. . . .
Global warming, the heating of the atmosphere by increased amounts of industrial gases, is now accepted as a reality by the international community. Average temperatures in Britain were nearly 0.6°C higher in the Nineties than in 1960-90, and it is estimated that they will increase by 0.2C every decade over the coming century. Eight of the 10 hottest years on record occurred in the Nineties.
However, the warming is so far manifesting itself more in winters which are less cold than in much hotter summers. According to Dr David Viner, a senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia, within a few years winter snowfall will become “a very rare and exciting event”.
“Children just aren’t going to know what snow is,” he said.

That is what this started out as in the first place with talk that our gases were making the layers thick and keeping the heat out. Even talk about coating the north and south caps in pitch TO INCREASE THEIR MELTING. It was in a time article in the library from the early ’80s…same nutters that switched their tune to the warming later.

People are starting to and its becoming more and more apparent that its all a scam from the Green-etc people to academics that make their living on this false science. Countless times they’ve been shown its nonsense but since they are in charge of the peer reviewed journals..work never gets out and they are never taken seriously.
This is all a scam to relieve people of their money. Just make a commission that will oversee a panel of phony experts. Remember, these experts can be easily pressured into a biased fact base because they rely on Government Grants to fund their research. If they do not produce the facts that the Government wants, the funds will dry up.
They will create a Panic and sense of Imminent Doom, this will alarm the uneducated and ignorant. They will also have to find an enemy, that enemy is now you and me because we are the ones causing all of the green house gases.
They can perform all the studies that they want, but one real big item that they always seem to leave out is this real big thing called the SUN!

I could not agree more, the earth has long rebelled against the idiocy of man on behalf of its creator.
