Suppose that Sarah Palin lived in Pakistan. Suppose that Jared Loughner, the alleged killer of federal Judge John Roll and Rep. Gabrielle Giffords’ staffer Gabe Zimmerman, had once traveled to Pakistan. Suppose that a “credible source” told a U.S. intelligence official that Loughner, while he was in Pakistan, had met with Sarah Palin. And suppose that Sarah Palin had published a map showing Gabrielle Giffords’ congressional district under the cross hairs of a gun sight (of course, as the world knows — including, presumably, people in Pakistan – this last statement is not a supposition, but an established fact.)
Under his constitutional authority as Commander-In-Chief, under the authority granted by the 2001 Authorization for the Use of Military Force, under any other provision of U.S. law, could the President of the United States order a drone strike on Sarah Palin’s house?

When I was little and got into it with my sister and my parents came in for the kill on us one of us would yell, “She made me do it!’

@PeterR, I don’t know about “blaming anyone” for taking this down. I do think many are surprised at the “thought process” of the post, and that another site is looking at it, and talking about it, even after it was removed.

Anyone remember this story from last year. It is another example of how an assassination movie about GWB was no big deal to the Left, but a guy who wrote a similar poem and posted it on the internet, got arrested. I think he might have been convicted by now, and sitting in Federal Prison, waiting for the Supremes to overturn, or say something like, “you can say anything, it doesn’t mean you intend to DO IT”. It is a prime example of the DOUBLE STANDARD on the Left.

The point of the article is that the “evidence” of Palin’s guilt in this attack is stronger than the flimsy “evidence” we have for many of our drone attacks; we understand how outrageous it woudl be to launch an attack on Palin, yet have no problem launching attacks on people in Pakistan based on much less evidence.

I think the point was to remove the anonymous aspect of these strikes by inserting someone everyone knows (and who everyone reading the HuffPo dislikes). That was awfully dumb. Should have used a celebrity. David Hasselhoff.
But it was taken down, which is a good sign. They recognized it was wrong, like Palin did with the targets on her site. Maybe we’re looking at some progress here.

Says he has 2 Masters degrees. Having one or two myself, I can testify to the fact that a masters is far easier to get than a bachelors degree and has absolutely NOTHING to do with common sense. The point of the film is NOT some perverse fantasy about killing the current President of the United States of America, George Walker Bush Jr. People who say otherwise either haven’t seen it or are wanting to purposely misguide you.
It appears to be a foreign (British) film. Not a MSNBC, Obama, DNC, or even Greenpeace production. No prominent liberal politicians layering rifle sites symbols over GWB’s photo.
