Lefties Boo AZ Gov. Jan Brewer at Memorial For Giffords Shooting Victims Dem Pep Rally…

TUCSON (NY Times)— When President Obama took the stage here Wednesday to address a community — and a nation — traumatized by Saturday’s killings, it invited comparisons to President George W. Bush’s speech to the nation after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and the memorial service President Bill Clinton led after the bombing of a federal office building killed 168 people in Oklahoma City in 1995
…Even as it began, some conservative commentators were posting comments criticizing the memorial service for being overly partisan and more like a pep rally, and there were some boos in the hall when Gov. Jan Brewer, a Republican, spoke. Those reactions would have been hard to imagine, say, in the days after the Oklahoma City bombing.

They pulled this crap at the Paul Wellstone ‘memorial service’, too. Pure red-meat blood-curdling pep rally.
Well, LET them have their little rallies on college campuses. We’ll save ours for for November every two years.
I think many in the crowd had been drinking and on drugs.
The whole production was a sham! I hope they find the audience was made up of predominantly SIEU members and their personally invited guests.
This was supposed to have been a Memorial service for the victims and their families – but it turned into a Democratic rally?? Have they no shame ? It was by far, one of my most embarrassing moments as an American.

What the Nation saw last night is a tiny glimpse into what we would be looking if another 9-11 happens.
I stand by my earlier post… we just got a whole bunch of new Conservatives because Obama and ilk have no idea what it is like to be human.
Thats why the Dems made sure that the memorial service was held on the camous grounds. Just chock full of liberal/leftist students that have been indoctrinated to the gills by the Universities lefty teachers. What was everyone expecting from the dems and their lemming followers? Compassion? Pity? Yea right. That would have been like actually expecting mercy from Joseph Stalin.

Because the sanctity of life means nothing to these people. I actually keep forgetting how distorted they are. This whole thing has been a chance to rally their base over the bodies of the dead. They are as sick as the man that pulled the trigger.

service. What I witnessed last night sickened me! I felt so sorry for the victims and families before this “memorial service” and now I feel even more sorry that this will forever be embedded in their memories…

Watched re-runs of Family Feud last night. Absolutely REFUSE to watch this homage to O and the Dems and will not watch any tape or this president speaking whether on TV or radio.

Brewer and the gentleman who helped Ms Giffords brought the only class to that disaster last night that I could see. Naturally the left would boo her.
I am so glad I am not alone in my shock and outrage over the vile campaign rally/memorial service. I have not in my lifetime seen anything like it. Wolf whistles and whoo whooooing and thunderous applause at a memorial? And that was before I even saw the t-shirts and flyers.
Disgusting. Well done to Brewer who was the only one beside that young man who understood what a memorial service should be.

Interesting observation on another blog: while the soundtrack kept playing wave after wave of applause to nearly everything Obama said, the camera panning the crowd showed people sitting politely–often at times while the applause was playing. The same commenter also mentioned the “fussy baby” that kept getting picked up by Obama’s mike somehow.
Was some of it canned applause edited in for effect?
