RINO Lisa Murkowski Sides With the Democrats, Trying to Repeal ObamaCare a Waste of Time…
A heartfelt thank you to Alaska for giving this woman another term.
(The Hill) — Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski on Thursday cast doubt on the manner in which Republicans have attempted to repeal the healthcare law.
Murkowski (Alaska) said that she would vote to repeal the law if a vote was held in the Senate, but she said the enough votes do not exist in the upper chamber to strike the law. As a result, Republicans should focus on other issues such as unemployment, spending and the federal debt and deficit, she said.
“The real question is, how much time do we as a Congress spend on this messaging?” Murkowski asked during an interview with KTVA-TV.
Murkowski’s comments came after Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.)assured that his chamber would hold a vote on the repeal bill passed by the GOP-controlled House this week, even though Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has voiced opposition to such a vote.
The Alaska senator — who defeated Tea Party Republican Joe Miller as a write-in candidate in November — mimicked a Democratic argument against GOP repeal efforts; Democrats say that Republicans have gone back on their calls to focus on jobs by holding a healthcare vote as their first major action of the 112th Congress.

correctly stated MNHawk, those businesses that have money and could hire are not going to when there is insecurity over health insurance increases, Bush tax cuts extended only 2 years and the rising costs of oil – all things that contributed to the aforesaid unemployment, spending and federal debt/deficit.

Just like Nevada, and Dirty Harry with his MONEY/UNIONS/and all the visits from big names just before the midterms(trips that, we–the taxpayers’ funded, btw), Alaskan’s who didn’t want Murkowski, couldn’t overcome the outside money, and last minute rally to keep her in office.
Hell, even with all of that last minute push, she didn’t win by that much.
I don’t even know why we have Primarys, when the LOSERS just keep running until they worm their way back in. Miller used the bulk of his money for the Primary, and HE WON. To clear one thing up, not ALL Alaskans supported LEASE-A-MurCOWski. She received most of her support from Native Corporations that receive No-Bid Federal Contracts, a scam that Sen. Ted Stevens slid into an appropriations bill AFTER it had been voted on in the Appropriations Committee . Very little of the money these Corporations receives, goes back to the villages the Corp. are suppose to represent. Most have no running water or sewage , they have to shit in five gallon buckets (Honey Buckets) during the winter, while the Corp. Elite buy condos in Hawaii. MurCOWski received $308,000 from these Corporations!!!!!!
She needs to vote the will of the people that put her in office. Personally I think she knows more about the VECO scandal along with her Dad Frank. The FBI needs to finish what it started and get get rid of the whole family. We are planning some protests at her home and offices her in Alaska. We need to get her out of office. The Veco scandal you say…that is a deep subject, but what was done to destroy Vecco was an outrage..I’m not going to post about all of this here but I know full well what you are talking about…I vehemently see things from the other-side than you do.
Btw…I worked for Veco, many did, came to know a lot about them, won’t go into Bill Allen etc…need not write all, but all of this has to do with claims during oil-spill as well, if people in the lower 48 had any idea what all happened during that BS fiasco as portrayed by the msm they still wouldn’t report the truth.
