Obama Marks Roe v. Wade Anniversary…

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is marking the 38th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s landmark decision on abortion by calling the procedure a constitutional right he’s committed to protecting.

Obama also said in a statement Saturday that he remains committed to policies designed to prevent unintended pregnancies. And he called on Americans to recommit themselves to ensuring that, in the president’s words, “our daughters have the same rights, the same freedoms, and the same opportunities as our sons to fulfill their dreams.”

Obama said the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion affirmed what he called a “fundamental principle: that government should not intrude on private family matters.”

Will he also be doing a memorial for Tiller the Killer? Seems appropriate given the radical infanticide he and the scrunt Sebelius favor.

What a role model. Every word uttered from BHO’s mouth (with or without the telepromter) is more incriminating as to his true nature.

A constitutional right made up by a small group of liberal judges . There is nothing in the original Constitution that okays the killing of an unborn child.

Maybe if people used condoms or other forms of birth-control we would have no need for the Roe v Wade and the huge murderers at unplanned parenting.

    HUMANS.

That’s why we must support the GLOBAL WARMING MOVEMENT! Its the perfect tool to eventually, get rid of all of those pesky humans!

Is the Oblatherer also going to celebrate sticking scissors in the back of the necks of born babies and severing their spinal chords? You know like that doctor in Philadelphia?

-Wrong, the Constitution limits the government, not the people.

-Wrong, US law is based as much on the Code of Hammurabi as it is on the Ten Commandments.

You have no compassion for women who have been raped. After all, a woman — or girl who has been raped isn’t “innocent” any more. She’s been fucked. Innocent means never been fucked. Just ask JEEEEEEEEEEEEsus, who of course, having never been laid, was INNOCENT and despised women, or may be he was just too busy trying to scrape John off his shoulder to date. You fear and hate any women who want to do something in life other than pump out babies and cook nice hot dinners for you like mama used to make. You think women have no right to their own bodies. You think women are useless for anything that doesn’t involve having their legs open. As women with kids get older their bodies get uglier and they don’t pay as much attention to you, so the widdle childwen become more and more important to the point where women should have no rights at all.

But you have a “cute baby” so all my arguments are invalid.

Damn, I’m so glad to be beyond childbearing age.

    Drop dead.

I would never make a woman raise a rape baby.. that’s just me personally..

but.. That fetus does have it’s own DNA sequence.. a FACT scientifically proven after Roe v Wade… which is utter crap..

I hope you know what muslims are… In Pakistan they just kill the babies of girls and women who do not conform to shariah when they have sex leading to pregnancy.. no exceptions.. abortion isn’t allowed so the men just wait for nature to take it’s course so that they can make sure allah takes it’s course…

Really? Government should not intrude on private family matters? Then why is your HealthScare Bill providing “Government (actually taxpayer) funding for abortions? Sounds a lot like government intruding in private family matters when you provide the funding for abortion counseling without parental notification as well as the funding for the procedure (murder) and I’m sure post procedure care as well.

Everything you say is a fucking lie you corrupt son of a bitch!

Great link! It provides a “common sense” perspective to an aged old condition …. poverty. Its been around since the begining and how poignant the answer to be rescued from it is the help from MORE people.

But don’t try to tell that to the liberal left. Humans are the problem, not the answer.

Does the human race impact their environment? Hell yes. But we shouldn’t leap before we have looked at definite and PROVEN solutions before we act.

EDUCATE your sons, TOO. Getting pregnant involves TWO.
It should not be just the problem of the girl/female.
I am sick and tired of women getting the blame.

As a woman, I can not think of a time that a man did NOT push for sex, before or even if you were asked for a date. Even now at 62, asking for sex is more blatant. Even a dance is an “right” to push for sex. And if you do dance, they immediately want sex. So Please, especially you men, grow up. You have to be as responsible as the female.

Younger women and girls associate a male wanting to have sex with them as
love. And I know that you men care nothing about love, just the sex. So all you guys that judge women for an abortion, get a grip.

And stop with the stupid comments if you do not want to have sex….”are you a
lesbian”. And you MEN that post here have no right to tell a woman what to do with her body. NO RIGHT.

So now, go ahead and make your damn comments. I DO NOT believe in late term abortion. I DO believe in educating girls and women. I DO believe in their right to have access to the night after pill. And I do believe in the right to have an abortion if raped. Until you have lived the nightmare of knowing you are pregnant and the responsibilty of another human being for the rest of your life…you have no right to comment….not until you MEN take the responsibilty, too.

anon, we are glad you are beyond child bearing age, too.

You spout the typical, enraged progressive crap when confronted with something as hideous as abortion. There is no defense for government sanctioned murder, so you have to resort to tired old generalizations and falsehoods. Didn’t your messiah say babies can be a punishment?

I have to believe that even inside the most radical progressive is something that resembles revulsion when they are confronted with a visual image of slicing up a baby in the uterus to make it easier to remove through the cervix, or cutting into the back of a newborns’ neck and clipping the spinal cord with a pair of scissors. It makes it a lot easier to kill a baby when you call it a ‘product of conception’. Sanitize the terms for the procedures used and it makes everything okey dokey.

I am not surprised the messiah celebrates the murder of our future.
