Washington Post Organizes News Boycott of Sarah Palin, Starts Twitter Campaign Against GOP Star…

It’s almost like they’re afraid of her…
Comments & pings are closed.(Big Journalism)- The Washington Post is engaging in online political activism by encouraging its readers to boycott news coverage of Sarah Palin.
The Post has picked up the call initiated this morning by Post columnist Dana Milbank, adding a Twitter link on the column page. The link generates a message to be sent from a Twitter member’s page that reads, “I’m making February a Palin-free month. Will you join me?”
The Post added the Twitter link to Milbank’s column this afternoon, several hours after running and pulling a Washington Post online poll about boycotting Sarah Palin news coverage. The poll initially accompanied The Post’s Milbank op-ed but was pulled within hours of publication at WashingtonPost.com.
The poll, which questioned Post readers whether they would support a Palin news boycott, received the support of eighty percent of approximately 450 votes cast.

I will boycott WaPo….for FREE!
I do every day, anyway. IN fact, if Zip stops putting their bullshit up on his site, I could be WaPo free forever!
80% support from WaPo readers.
The totalitarianism of the Left, Loud and Clear. No voice to opponents.
No Free Speech for You!
I never thought I would live long enough to see this in my own country.
WAPO is the sister of Politico.
I only get on their to make snarky comments to the libtards who make responses to anything and everything Charles Krauthammer writes.
Eff them.
I’m with Muslimania.
I was chatting with a Lib friend of mine last night. He has no idea I’m Conservative since I never bring up politics… but he said something I found odd… LOL …. he said Palin’s original campaign was over the top right wing Christian.
Obviously, she is a Christian. But during the campaign I really did not notice at all her making religion any sort of issue.
These people are worse than children. I bet dildobank doesn’t make it a week.
Really, no Palin bashing for a whole month? I’ll believe it when I see it.
We’re all long overdue for a break from WaPo Palin screeds. Now maybe they can find the time to do some background checking on their messiah.
I’m absolutely sure that the Palin’s will welcome the break…
Thanks, WaPo!
Boycott the Washigton Post? Yes —but more importantly call and boycott ALL of their advertisers!!
If they’re not going to be doing political hack jobs do you think they might try some real journalism with real research and facts?
I hope Dana is wearing garlic around his neck this whole month!
Somehow I dont think that Sarah cares.
Beating their tiny fists and kicking their nasty little feet doesn’t seem to be working, so I won’t take this “boycott” seriously until they threaten to hold their breath, also.
That’ll teach us, huh?
Turning Sarah Palin into a liberal taboo is probably not a good idea.
Liberals love to indulge in taboos!
.
They ARE afraid of her. She is, perhaps, the greatest threat to the progressive / socialist plan. When Michael Reagan compared her to his father, I believe that was all that it took for the left. Look how much damage Ronald did to the peanut farmer’s works… She should wear their scorn as a badge of honor.
I’m sorry but I do not believe liberals have the will power to abstain from unwarranted vitriol rhetoric for more than an official commercial break.
well since the Washington Post doesn’t seem to want to cover actual news, and think they determine what is “news”, then I am now cancelling my subscription of over 15 years. Will be calling them on Monday, this isn’t even about Palin at this point, this is the clear immaturity of a pathetic “newpaper”.
I’ll just get my Sunday coupons online.
They really have no clue how pathetic they sound, do they?
Wouldn’t it be a scream if Palin announced her candidacy on Reagan’s b-day (early Feb) and the WaPo couldn’t report it?
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Let’s see, that’s Alinsky Rule #3, 5 and 11
3. “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy (Republicans/conservatives). Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty. (This happens all the time. Watch how many organizations under attack are blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments that they are then forced to address.)
5. “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition(Republicans/conservatives) which then reacts to your advantage.”
11. “If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside… every positive has its negative.”
You know what I would like to see ban in print and the News?
Obama. Lets try to not have to listen to or read about TEH WON. For a whole month Hell lets make it a lifetime starting Jan 2013. Just saying..
As far as Sarah Goes the left is scared to death of her.. makes me like her all the more.
How childish is that…when something like that gains attention all it does is eventually backfire.
Silly as can be…Milbank’s always had marbles for brains anyway.
The lib bots are going crazy. Over at Peoples Cube where I posted this ditty last night it’s had over 300 hits in 12 hours. If I caught 100 hits in 24 hours it meant the song was catching some attention.

Gee, I certainly hope that the WaPo and the others united in this Palin boycotte give us daily updates in Feb. on how that’s working out for Palin’s popularity/ratings … (snark)
BTW, this came to mind in all of this …
Reports of increased death threats on Sarah Palin (and her family) have been noted in the last couple weeks since the media assault on her, post-AZ shootings. Maybe the left-leaning PDS media are pouring that bitter rhetoric coffee they brewed into the saucer to let it cool so they can’t be blamed should any ‘spillage’ arise. In other words, in all their vilifying and convicting the woman for a crime she did not commit they have pretty much done exactly what they accused her of doing (see: crosshairs political map) and might well have put her in the same irresponsible ‘targeted’ danger they concluded her ‘map’ put Rep. Giffords in … hmmm? After all, I am certain more crazy people watch the MSM offerings on a daily basis than saw some obscure political map on a blog … That is until the MSM dragged it out and waved it around over the fallen in Tucson like some self-righteous victory flag.
There is no way in hell that they will carry out this promise. They cant do it. They are crack addicts that need Sarah Palin. Not a day goes by that that poor woman isnt being reported on. For Christs sake, the MFM MAKES up stories about her to keep her on the front page and NOW they are totally reversing gears? Big bullshit flag on this play!
If this tactic does not work for WaPo, I wonder if, as a last resort to shut down any civil discourse or debate, on opposing viewpoints, that the next order of the day will be,
“any time a Conservative (especially Sarah Palin) says anything, just put one of your fingers in each ear, and repeat after me–lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala……..
I’ve abandoned reading the Washingmachine Pestulance for well over 20 years and have thoroughly enjoyed the absence of its visual and ersatz-intellectual, anything-but-objective, left-leaning pollution ever since.
Make ‘em go double or nothing. They’ll be twitching like they’ve got the DTs.
I think Millbank may realize how the left’s non-stop bashing of Palin is grating most decent people, no matter how they feel about Palin.
Too late Millbank.
