Poor O he appears as childish as Bush. If someone doesn’t want him to do something that’s exactly what he is going to do and if someone wants him to do something, no way. Like when they said reduce troops in Iraq Bush increased them. Now they say cut spending and O says more. Compared to other humans we are as good as any but when held to a higher standard all of us humans have and will fall, about six foot under, short.

-Just to test that theory, I randomly picked a few SOTU speeches and tried it.
Reagan’s second in 1983 – On a quick read, he said “I” 36 and “me” 5 times out of 5551 words or .74%.
Bush, in his fifth in 2005 said “I” 28 and “me” 1 time times out of 5082 words or .57%.
Obama said “I” 55 times and “me” 5 out 6789 words or .88%.
You are right, Obama edges out ,be it just barely, Reagan in narcissism.
Did they count the “God blesses …” at the close of the speech, because you know he does believe … he IS.

The formula for my completely unscientific survey was that I divided the number of times I or me was used by the total number of words in the speech x 100 to get a percentage.
Also, I only skimmed the speeches so I might have missed one or two. I actually did notice that Bush in fact used “we” a lot even when just skimming.
If somebody was really, really bored, it would be interesting to total all the speeches of each of them and get a total percentage. Like I said, I just randomly picked one from Bush and from Reagan.
He could have just as easily used dip shit for I and idiot for me. The speech would have been more believable.

One thing liberals are good at is twisting and spinning the truth about comments and policy made by conservatives.
Consider this year a step in the right direction. In the 2010 SOTU, he used a first person, personal pronoun 103 times. He may be becoming more humble.

I know you don’t mean a SCHOOL history book or textbook, because the libs have ruined those.
As said, compared to each other we figure we are as good as any, at least we can until that certain fall at the end. We humans like to do what we want and consider ourselves right in so doing. Perhaps our little lifetimes on this little planet are enough for you but my treasure lies elsewhere and there is no human including me who can provide it for me. Thank God provision has been made by Himself because humans can’t.
