Bolton on Egypt: Obama May Be Inadvertently Aiding the Rise of Another Radical Jihadist State…

The Stache speaketh.

In his own inimitable style, John Bolton tells a reporter that the response of Hillary Clinton’s State Department concerning the crisis in Egypt is “mush.” He gives dire warning that the radical Muslim Brotherhood is gaining traction and that it would be a monumental catastrophe of the highest order if it seized control. Just as the Shah of Iran was bad, he was followed by a regime that was infinitely worse and is still threatening us today. Jimmy Carter helped push the Shah out (1979) and we see what the Ayatolla Khomeni, his successor, wrought for us and the world. Likewise, Mubarak is not ideal but he’s helped America and will negotiate with Israel. But the administration, by trying to be “nice” to all sides by saying nothing of substance, may be inadvertently aiding the rise of another radical jihadist state — and an important one with a population of 80 million in a crucial location with the Suez Canal.

The Muslim brotherhood are making their move big time. They are sensing now is the time bring Egypt into line for the Caliphate. Just watch…Turkey will be next. The “spontaneous demonstration outbreak” will call for “change” their too. The best system of Revelation is taking form…then comes their Mahdi/Antichrist.

It is sad and pathetic to know that we can not depend on our own administration, to really do the right thing for Egypt and the rest of the free world.

Bolton makes much sense when he explains the ramifications of a strict Sharia Law Government. I wonder if Egypt will ask the Israelis for help? That would be interesting.

A “new” Egypt will be as anti-US as Iran, if not worse. These are the same bunch who killed Anwar Sadat.

He was assassinated by Muslim Brotherhood infiltrators of the Egyptian Military.

Obama doesn’t consider the Muslim Brotherhood as radical as he does
the new Repub House. His minions will be teaching us that Boehner
is FAR more dangerous than devout Muslims in a far off land.

What a time in our history to have so many baffoons in top gov positions. obama is over his head and hillary sounded like an ignoramus. Ever notice that she is often photographed while drunk? She obviously has a serious drinking problem which is really unprofessional. The whole lot of them are in over their heads.

I still reckon Obama is working for the Russians and Chinese.
The destruction of the American-Sunni alliance in the ME will cause fuel prices to skyrocket in the West.
The fall of the America friendly sunni regimes would guarantee a new order in the ME.
If they can kick you guys out of the region, influence-wise, all that oil will be under new management.

Kinda coincidental how Obama has that oil-drilling moratorium in place, no?
And what a shame the environmentalist/commies in the U.S. have declared many of your oilfields off limits to drilling.

If you want to know the goals of the MB just listen to the diatribes given by AQ’s second-in-command. It was the MB that murdered Sadat. You know damn well that this uprising isn’t about democracy, its a repeat of the 1979 Iraniac revolution. If the MB takes over Eqypt and Jordan Israel will be back in the post Camp David Pisslamic world again with enemies on all sides.

This is about the Pisslamic world bringing Sharia to every corner of Pisslam, raising up a Khalipha and bring about a World War with Dar al-Harb and Israel.

Those fools still looking for a democratic outcome need look no further than the plight of Copts in Eqypt or Christians in Iraq or Persians in Iran.

Oh and closing the Suez would be one of the goals of the MB, to force the price of oil (a major source of Jihad monies)through the roof.

The whore of Babylon is having birth pains.

If Egypt falls to the Muslim Brotherhood, and they close the Suez Canal to traffic, especially to Israeli shipping, Israel will respond as they did in ’67 when Egypt made the same move. The stakes are higher now than they were in ’67 – what with Lebanon and the heavily armed Iranian-backed Hizballah in the driver’s seat to the north. I also understand that the unrest has spread not only to Jordan, but to Syria as well.

Syrians are planning a “day of rage” for Feb. 5 – a possible commemoration of the slaughter of 20,000 citizens (probably Muslim Brotherhood) in the city of Hama on Feb. 2, 1982, by Hafez al-Assad, the father of the current chinless dictator. Baby Bashir’s regime is already disrupting internet service.

I am monitoring a very reliable Israeli news forum (in Hebrew).

    What’s the money trail?

We already know, our tax dollars have been funding Muslim terrorist organizations in Palestine. How are our tax dollars finding their way to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt? Where’s the GAO audit? Where’s the congressional audit?

Is the money going thru Acorn to the Muslim Brotherhood? Our damn tax dollars, we deserve to know the paper trail.

Inadvertently my big ole but. Obama has consistently promoted and protected radical islam from day one. He saved the crazy imams in Iran from the student protesters and he’s destroying a secular Egypt, to be replaced by a Radicalized Egypt. The whole world will soon be engulfed in a war of Obama’s doing. This is 1939 all over again. We are living in the last period of relative world peace.

“Just as the Shah of Iran was bad, he was followed by a regime that was infinitely worse and is still threatening us today.”

This analysis would be a little more complete if it acknowledged that the shah’s tyranny was a direct cause of the rise of the theocrats that replaced him. In other words if we hadn’t overthrown the democratic government of Iran in 1953, in order to keep western oil companies profitable, we wouldn’t have the Iran of today.

See, simple equation- when we meddle in other countries and prop up dictators it comes back to haunt us; Ho Chi Minh, Noriega, Hussein, the Shah, and many more dictators we supported only to have them become enemies or have them radicalize their populations enough so that they became anti-american states.

There’s a huge gray area between isolationism and imperialism. We need to strike a better balance.

  36. Tlaloc says:

“Obama has consistently promoted and protected radical islam from day one. He saved the crazy imams in Iran from the student protesters and he’s destroying a secular Egypt, to be replaced by a Radicalized Egypt.”

Wait, how exactly did Obama “save” the imams of Iran from students? And how is he exactly destroying Egypt? Egypt is in chaos, certainly, but that’s because of massive discontent among its people (owing to decades of oppression by the government) being seized upon by radical elements. You can say Obama’s been ineffectual, or weak, or whatever, but saying he CAUSED this is just ridiculous.
