WASHINGTON (AP) – President Barack Obama says the passion and dignity demonstrated by the people of Egypt has been an inspiration.
He says young protesters will reach their destiny.
In brief remarks at the White House Tuesday evening, the president said, “We hear your voices.”

Obama says the transition in Egypt’s leadership ‘must be meaningful, it must be peaceful, and it must begin now,’ after President Mubarak announces he will not seek re-election.

I thought the young kids in Iran was much more thrilling, but the heavy hand of sharia clamped down on them. The Egypt thing is opposite of what happened in Iran. This is very scary. NOT inspirational at all, not unless one is a sympathizer of radical islam, the caliphate etc. We are in for some serious trouble. They infiltrated our government and society years ago and its just a matter of time shit hits the fan.

The administration is not failing to see anything. This is exactly what this administration planned (encouraged). Why else the involvement of Barry’s BFF Billy Ayers, Dohrn and Code Pintk? Why else the signs in English (as has been pointed out). It’s been said that even Egyptians were caught off guard by the (orchestrated) protests and their timing. Most other than the organized MB don’t even have a clear-cut plan of what it is they even want.

If you’ll recall, when the protesters first took to the street June 13th, it took the president exactly 3 days to come out and say he was “deeply troubled” by the violence. Then more than a week later after many protesters, men and women were rounded up, raped and killed he commented:
“The last thing that I want to do is to have the United States be a foil for those forces inside Iran who would love nothing better than to make this an argument about the United States,”
“We shouldn’t be playing into that (when questioned about a US response) “There should be no distractions from the fact that the Iranian people are seeking to let their voices be heard.”
Obama told Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper, in an interview published Sunday, that the United States has no way of knowing whether the disputed Iranian election 10 days ago was fair or not. Iranians should be able to peacefully protest the results in any case, Obama said.
