Obama Says He Will Veto any Bill That Limits His Regime’s Ability to Enforce Global Warming Regulations via Greenhouse Gases…

(Politico)- The Obama administration Wednesday repeated its threat to veto legislation that would curb its ability to regulate greenhouse gases.
Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson said that the White House continues to oppose any efforts from Capitol Hill to hamstring her agency on climate change.
“What has been said from the White House is that the president’s advisors would advise him to veto any legislation that passed that would take away EPA’s greenhouse gas authority,” Jackson told reporters on Capitol Hill. “Nothing has changed.”
EPA’s climate policies came under attack this week when Sens. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) and John Rockefeller (D-W.Va.) – backed by a host of co-sponsors – rolled out bills Monday to hamstring EPA’s authority to regulate greenhouse gas emissions.
A separate bill will come Wednesday afternoon from House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-Mich.) and the Senate’s top climate skeptic, Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.).

How ’bout an EPA that sets standards for factory emission, not minutia details on processes determined by bureaucrats who have never gotten there hands dirty building or producing a single thing in there entire lives.
BTW I expect everyone who loves the EPA to call them and report when you break a CFL bulb to have a proper clean up done.

Let’s assume it’s all biological and therefore finite.
Wouldn’t it make more sense to drain the rest of the world’s oil reserves, before we use up our own?
I’d hate to use up all ours, for a quick fix, and then find out 400 years from now that the Middle East rules the world because we left them one of the best resources we have for generating power.

Including and and shale, which we have the technology to get, we have 8x the Saudi reserves, (Canada has 3x what we have). That’s even before we talk about coal and natural gas, throw in methane hydrates and it’s even better.
If we want to stretch those resources even farther, nuclear for electrical generation and coal for conversion via gasification into petrochemical products.
It is not a matter of resources.
It is entirely a matter of politics.

If a group of people that stood to make millions on the world being flat, they could probably convince this Dumb A** President to make the rest of us believe it. People wake up because it has nothing to do with global warming, it is all about controlling people. What I find humorous is the Dems are pushing this the most and they are the ones that us more energy than anyone else. Look at the Hollywood people, Nancy (Fly the jet back to Cali every weekend). They fly their personal jets all over the country and they can no move people using less energy than the new commercial jets. You made me think a bit more about energy in general. I completely forgot about nuclear (as it’s been taboo for so much of my life). It is all just politics.
We have enough oil in south Dakota to last our whole country for 40 yrs not including all the oil at sea & Alaska. During those years we should come up for a way to really develop another energy source. Plus we develop jobs & don’t give $$$ to those middle eastern countries & Chavez. They need our dollars more than we need their oil… Choke out those combative countries that have issues with the USA
