A kid asked this old conservative what rights we have lost in a sarcastic manner so I started listing them. Whether or not I can wear a seatbelt, where I could smoke, where I could use a cell phone, buy a beer at 18, ride a bike without a helmet, ride a bike with my dog running along side me. The whole concept of everyone buying health care insurance is flawed. Do all illegal aliens buy if they aren’t even here legally? Does the homeless person buy insurance when he hasn’t even have a pot to piss in? the answer to all those questions is a resounding NO! You and I, the middle class will pay for them plain and simple!
I have a thirteen year old girl, and honest to god every day I wake up I am thankful that I have an incredible insurance policy that pays for my medical insurance. I found insurance from Wise Health Insurance website and it doesn’t pay 100% on everything, but when I receive the bill and find out just how much I would have had to pay had I not been insured I realize that there is no way in the world that I could have afforded kind of care without it.

Ever notice that clinics are full of people with snifles, or just not feeling right, or fairly minor stuff! 80% of them could take care of themselves if they knew how or wanted too. My best friend who used to sell drugs (Merck, laid off 2 plus years), verifed my therory. If the government pays for transportation, cell phones, meds, doctor visit, why work? In our house, broken bones or bones sticking through the skin are about the only things that we use doc’s for. So many “getovers” are destroying our system, with this cloward/piven stratgey!

It is socialism because you are being forced to buy health insurance. The free market is based on the concept that you are free to make choices, including not buying health insurance, but most importantly, taking the responsibility for the choices you make. This is something Obama does not understand, in fact, he will reward or subsidize people or companies that make the wrong decision. Look at the recent bailouts as an example. This is why our society is going down the toilet, we reward stupidity and penalize having brains and talent.
