Inevitable: Dem Official Credits Obama With Ousting Mubarak…

(Politico) — A Democratic official emails — a bit prematurely, I’d say — with what I take to be the official line:
Great news for the administration/president. People will remember , despite some fumbles yesterday, that the President played an excellent hand, walked the right line and that his statement last night was potentially decisive in bringing this issue to a close. The situation remains complicated and delicate going forward, but this is a huge affirmation of the President’s leadership on the international stage.

On Wednesday they said that transitioning power “now means yesterday.”
On Saturday morning the Obama Administration said Mubarak must stay.
On Saturday evening the Obama Administration said Mubarak should step aside.
On Sunday Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Mubarak must stay in power.
On Tuesday the Obama Administration said that political reform will be a gradual process.
Yesterday, we were told Mubarak was stepping down only to be told later in the day that Panetta’s CIA had no idea what was going on.
I agree with those that say this will come back and get them in the end.

The Egyptian military, by way of the mob, forces Mubarak into leaving office/power and turning over the country to said military … far outside the Egyptian Constitution. A “military coup” (by all intents and purposes) … and Obama and the dems and State Department not only rejoice it’s democracy, but take credit for it. So, should we then credit this Obama ship of fools and asshats with directly being involved in an illegal military coup in Egypt?
