Peace-Loving Egyptian Protesters Yelled “Jew! Jew!” During Vicious Sexual Assault on CBS Reporter Lara Logan…

(NY Post) — “60 Minutes” correspondent Lara Logan was repeatedly sexually assaulted by thugs yelling, “Jew! Jew!” as she covered the chaotic fall of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Cairo’s main square Friday, CBS and sources said yesterday.
The TV crew with Logan, who is also the network’s chief foreign correspondent, had its cameras rolling moments before she was dragged off — and caught her on tape looking tense and trying to head away from a crowd of men behind her in Tahrir Square.
A network source told The Post that her attackers were screaming, “Jew! Jew!” during the assault. And the day before, Logan had told Esquire.com that Egyptian soldiers hassling her and her crew had accused them of “being Israeli spies.” Logan is not Jewish.
In Friday’s attack, she was separated from her colleagues and attacked for between 20 to 30 minutes, The Wall Street Journal said.
Her injuries were described to The Post as “serious.”
CBS went public with the incident only after it became clear that other media outlets were on to it, sources said.

CBS is disgusting. They only released the story because other news outlets were on to it. So much for the accuracy and integrity of the MSM. Of course they didn’t want their viewers catching on to the Jew hate and Islamist character of the protests. Nothing that threathened the narrative of young Egyptians demonstrating for freedom would be allowed to be shown.

A tragic story indeed and I wish Lara Logan full recovery, although she will never be the same woman she was before the incident. Interesting that his story attempt to make the leap from her attackers calling her a Jew and the Egyptian army calling the CBS team Jews and Israeli spies as if they were one in the same. No mention that she was first saved by Egyptian women and then rescued by the Egyptian army, as were the 2 code pinkies. I’m waiting for CBS to do a story on the courage it took for those women to intervene and thank them and the military for rescuing a colleague.

Logan, reflecting on her disappointment in leaving, said, “It’s very hard for me to be away from this story. I feel in one sense like a failure, professionally. I feel like I failed because I didn’t deliver.”
Well, now she’s delivered the real story – the real face of Jew-hating, brutally violent, misogynist Islam – but certainly not in the way she intended.

I think most MSM reporters like Ms. Logan have been so thorougly inductrinated into the cult of Multiculturalism that they really have no idea of the true nature of the world, and especially Islam. Unlike this website, where most people have made the effort to educate themselves about Islam, most liberal reporters simply accept the progressive multiculturalist narrative without question. Which leaves them very vulnerable to situations like this when the real world intrudes on the multiculti fantasyland they live in.
