Wisconsin, as one of the original Progressive states, surely has statutes permitting recall on its books. It will be interesting to see if any of the legislators who have ditched their duties and decamped will be subjected to recall votes by their constituents.

many businesses that were driven out of business in the USA at least had the option of moving to another country in search of cheaper labor so they could remain competitive.State and local governments don’t have that option. Unions have targeted governments for this reason. What have YOU been doing the last three days?
Me? Worked-on time & then some. Our business had commitments; worked hard to fulfill those commitments, to keep our customers & grow our business. To pay our wages AND state/public employee WAGES/BENEFITS!
MY TAXES are paying for this? state/public employees to protest? during work hrs? Schools closing for days? Disregarding the commitment to educate children in this state?
WHY should I, as a tax payer, continue to pay for my state to protest against me?
Attending RALLY – New Location: EAST side of capitol. (was south side, but was changed) NOON – 3PM. (I have no work obligations that day!)
Carpooling information:
Meeting location #1: 9:00 AM sharp! The old Darrow’s/Pick-n-Save East parking lot across from Log Cabin Restaurant. Leaving at 9:10AM.

Meeting location #2: 10:00 AM at the Park & Ride at Hwy. 12 & Hwy 188 just south of Sauk City. Leaving at 10:15AM
Plan to arrive no later than 11AM. Parking will be a challenge and there are no shuttle buses. Bring quarters for parking meters if you can’t get on a parking ramp with an attendant. The going rate is $1.50/hr.
The Unions are not longer needed. They are just becoming more rich & powerful off the backs of the workers but more so off the backs of non-union citizens who end up paying the price for everything.

Remember back in the 80′s when the air traffic controllers went out on strike and President Reagan told them go back to work or be fired ? And what happened when they refused ? President Reagan fired every single last one that disobeyed and hired new air traffic controllers. Well Gov. Walker, it’s your turn to do a Ronald Reagan. Give them time to get back home and in front of the classroom. Give them a time deadline and if they don’t obey your order…..FIRE EVERY STINKIN LAST ONE OF THEM ! As for the weasels who ran away, I’d stay wherever you are. You’re nothing more than a bunch of weasels with a broad yellow streak down your back. All of you need to go to the emergency room and have them remove your lips from ODUMBO’S ass. Who epoxied your lips there in the first place. Did you all get threatened by the big bad onions ? Onions are a lot like the story of the three little pigs. They huff and puff and nothing ever falls down. They’re just a lot of hot air. Pay them no mind. You’d best listen to your boss the governor. We registered The American Recall Coalition with the State of Wisconsin today and launched a recall against Senators Holperin and Miller. Only those Senators in even numbered Districts are subject to recall under Wisconsin law.
Salt Lake City, Utah-Dan Baltes, Executive Director of Americans Against Immigration Amnesty (AAIA) released the following statement concerning AAIA’s registration of The American Recall Coalition (ARC) with the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board (http://cfis.wi.gov/) as required to commence recall petitions against Wisconsin State Senators Jim Halperin (WI-12) and Mark Miller (WI-16):
“It has long been claimed that elections have consequences but at least two Senators in Wisconsin are not willing to accept those consequences or the will of the voters. Senators Halperin and Miller have embarked on behavior that is a direct threat to our Republic and political process. Aligning themselves with the Democratic National Committee and Organizing for America, the President’s primary organizational arm, these Senators are holding the Wisconsin State Senate hostage, complete with a ‘ransom demand’. The Senators’ inexcusable, intentional dereliction of duty undermines the very core of our way of life and such behavior must also have consequences. Politicians must learn that the American people will no longer tolerate political tantrums, holding the legislative process hostage or attempting to impose their will through extortion or dereliction of the duties they were elected to perform. Recall statutes are in place for voters to hold politicians accountable to their constituents for such irresponsible actions and this is a textbook example of the appropriate use of the recall process.
We have completed our research and review of the applicable Wisconsin laws based on the information we have received. In that regard, we have registered The American Recall Coalition with the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board. ARC has initiated a recall against two (2) of the Wisconsin Senators which have been identified as participating in this attack on our political process and that eligible for recall at this time. As more Senators are identified as co-conspirators and are eligible to be recalled under Wisconsin law, additional recalls will be initiated by ARC.”

I have all of your names and phone numbers and every person in the United States should know how cowardly you all are. You do not have the integrity or principles to carry out the job you were voted for and should be removed immediately. I am ashamed at your actions, adults should know better. Go hide and stay longer because someone will find a way to remove you because you are not doing your job. I THINK WHAT GOVERNOR WALKER DID WAS WAY PAST DUE. I AGREE WITH THAT THEY SHOULD BE TREATED JUST AS RONALD REAGAN DID WITH THE AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS IN 1981, FIRE EVERY ONE. On Tuesday 2/15/2011 during the committee hearing it was next to impossible for Lena Taylor to actually ask her question. She pontificated and went on and on and on before asking a convoluted question. I kept saying Whiner / Whiner / Whiner under my breath. Finally one of her union teachers threw some paperwork at me, which my friend read. Full of half truths, but not the whole truth. Those Union folks are protesting and not even investigating the entire bill. In a few weeks thousands of folks will be laid off if those folks don’t face THE NEW REALITY.
The language we use should be clean. Weshould not bow to level of the dems. 946.12 has to be inforced by the attorney General. This is a felony. nuff said
