   Jesus, that Smiley fellow (is he the coloured one?) is repugnant! You know, I never believed in that “lizardmen” nonsense but after seeing his disgusting poisoned-dartfrog like tongue dart out for the hundredth time I’m beginning to see why people think half man half reptile creatures might exist.

   I grew up watching Politically Incorrect back in the day (I was only a kid) but I loved it. Say what you will but Maher does try to at least question established views.

   Bullshit Maher is full of it and he knows it, men treat women like shit everywhere on this Earth, especially in so called democratic countries like USA, England Australia and Europe. The pornography and the sexualisation of girls from our so called civilised countries, shows how we treat our women and what we think of them, nothing but sex objects once we get over that and put an end to pornography, then we can move forward and say we are on our way to treating women equally, and don’t give me this bullshit about free speech, pornography should be banned outright, some things must be censored.    If a grown woman who is in no way mentally impaired or coerced decides she wants to be in a pornographic film or publication what right do you or the government have to stop her?

   I also fail to see how letting women do porn is in any way unequal treatment; men do porn as well, gay and straight.

    Travis Smiley was close to denying that Muslim women have no rights…he was trying to say that the west’s treatment is just as bad as the Muslim treatment of their women…he couldn’t be more wrong….apparently he is unaware that Muslim women can be stoned to death or caned for accusations of adultery, “improper” dating, reading a Bible, talking or texting on a cell phone, wearing slacks, not wearing a veil or not submitting to the sexual demands of their husbands…or any other accusation the Muslim men want to sling at them..

    He wasn’t even fierce enough. Not once did he mention the fact that 97% of those Egyptian women we were seeing with the headscarfs he was focused on as some human rights abuse, and it is, HAVE THEIR GENITALS CUT OFF!!! I couldn’t believe he didn’t mention it once!

    Western men while sympathetic, don’t seem to get the *horror* Middle Eastern women in pisslamic countries are living in, especially Egypt, … and it could get even worse for them!!!

    It’s just unreal to me that in this satellite age there is not a world spotlight on this. Where is the outrage?

    I disagree that such puritanical concepts as “moral decay” exist in a real sense. You liken wearing a burka to moral decay but they’re there to apparently protect against moral decay by hiding temptation and “guarding that which Allah hath kept secret” (I’m paraphrasing here)

    No, I think a sign of decay is meddlesome busybodies projecting their own secret lusts and desires onto others and then enacting laws which codify their sick and twisted feelings as repugnant, thereby justifying their very hatred of such acts, pornography being one of them and another perhaps the so-called “innocence of childhood” which is also a very modern concept.

    When sodomy was illegal in most US states, did you think that it was right the government should regulate what two consenting adults did in the privacy of their own home? No, instead busybodies, no better than prohibitionists, felt that a man and a woman or a man and a man indulging in something behind closed doors was a real threat to society which is utter nonsense…

    I would agree that anything which violates the autonomy of any individual and which makes them do acts against their will is bad and a sign of a regressive, primitive society. Rape, forced rape rather than statutory rape, is always wrong, under any circumstances, murder is likewise loathsome as is theft and lying for no purpose other than to defraud. When you start trying to prohibit acts for the sole purpose of protecting the morality of a society then you start becoming no better than muhammedons or islamic supremacists and their enablers. The whole point of sharia law is to protect society from “moral decay”, yet you all agree that that is wrong without question.

    I hate the state’s interference in people’s private lives, I resent being told like a naughty child what’s right and what’s wrong. I’m not sure if that makes me left or right wing or neither.

    To answer another individual: I wouldn’t give a damn if my mother or father indulged in pornography, it’s their business and it’s not going to taint them spiritually or anything. Honestly, for all you people’s dislike of islam you employ a lot of their ideas, if not their terms. Look up najiss and you’ll see what I mean. It’s something I don’t believe in. Psychological harm, yes, spiritual harm, no.
