Malignant Anti-Semite Helen Thomas Cackles More Jew Hatred

(Haaretz Service) — The Jews did not have to leave Germany and Poland following the Holocaust since they were not being persecuted anymore, former White House correspondent Helen Thomas said in an interview on Thursday, adding that the Jews had no right to take other people’s land.
Thomas, 90, stepped down from her job as a columnist for Hearst News Service in June of last year after a rabbi and independent filmmaker videotaped her outside the White House calling on Israelis to get “out of Palestine.”
She gave up her front row seat in the White House press room, where she had aimed often pointed questions at 10 presidents, going back to Eisenhower.
Speaking of the controversial comments in an interview with CNN’s Joy Behar on Thursday, Thomas said she did not regret her comments, saying that the Jews did not have to go anywhere after the Holocaust.
“There hasn’t been persecution since that, since World War II. You don’t take other people’s land,” Thomas said in reference to Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territories.
When Behar asked Thomas if she realized that her comment regarding sending the Jews back to Poland and Germany were insensitive in view of the past the Jews share with those countries, the former correspondent said: “I also said Russia.”
“Well Russia, they had their share of anti-Semitic pogroms,” the CNN interviewer said, to which Thomas answered: “They also had 25 million who died in World War II. . . . More than that.”
“They didn’t have to go anywhere really, because they weren’t being persecuted anymore but they were taking other people’s land,” Thomas said, adding of the perceived insensitivity of her comments by saying: “Count how many Palestinians are in jails now, taken from their homes, a million refugees, is that sensitive?”
Responding to Behar’s question whether or not she considered herself to be anti-Semitic, Thomas said: “Hell no! I’m a Semite . . . of Arab background,” and saying of the Jews: “They’re not Semites. I mean, most of them are from Europe.”
Thomas also referred to the widespread uproar which her comments caused, saying she “didn’t realize it would ring that many bells, because they’ve [the Jews] been free ever since.”
When asked by Behar how would she revise her comments in view of the reactions they garnered, Thomas said: “Why do they have to go anywhere? They aren’t being persecuted! They don’t have the right to take other people’s land. Under international law occupied land should not be annexed,” Thomas said.
The former White House correspondent did, however, say she did not accurately gauge the backlash to her comments, saying that there was a change they got “me in trouble, but everything is distorted. But I don’t care.”
“We have organized lobbyists in favor of Israel, you can’t open your mouth. I can call the president of the United States anything in the book, but you say one thing about Israel and you’re off limits,” Thomas said.
“I have regrets that everyone misinterpreted it and distorted it, and you have the Ari Fleshcer and the Abe Foxman distorting everything, so I certainly knew that and I should of kept my mouth shut, probably.”

How can SHE reject that Jews have any claim to the land of Israel? How could not the Muslims take it away from Jews first? Helen, the Jews have been there the whole time, as well as throughout many other places in the middle east. They never left.
And as far as returning the sovereignty of the Palestinian state back to the Palestinians, shouldn’t they first have to establish a Palestinian state. The region of Palestine HAS NEVER BEEN IT’S OWN COUNTRY. It has existed AS PART OF many different empires over the centuries, but it has never been it’s own anything.

I don’t know what the big deal is here. There was never any doubt about Thomas’ antisemitism. However, the fact that Joy Behar (the miserable bitch) would give this cow face time to spout her vile thoughts makes me sick.
The Left of the Western world seem unable to find a bad word to say about, or any will to resist, what has widely come to be known as “Islamofascism”
– the revival of Islamic supremacist thinking that became so influential among Muslims in the late 20th century and which graduallly impacted more and more on the Western world as time went by — with the attacks on New York and elsewhere on 9/11/2001 being the most spectacular example of that.
Islamic thinking has always included major themes that Leftists have campaigned against to the point of hysteria in the Western world — the belief in killing homosexuals, subjugating women, extreme sexual puritanism, theocracy, unconditional obedience to a divine being etc.
So how come such beliefs are anathema to Leftists in the Western world but evoke no protest if Muslims are advocating them?
The Leftist failure to oppose reactionary Islam certainly puzzles many
but in fact it provides a good test of the account given here about what Leftism really is.
And the reason why the Left are friendly to Islam could hardly be simpler: hatred of the world about them is fundamental to Leftists. They are a people who are consumed by and fundamentally motivated by hate.
And that is also true of the Islamofascists. Both groups are great haters. And they hate the same thing. They hate everyday Western culture. They hate the “system” of Western capitalism.
So what the Left advocate in the Western world is merely instumental to their desire to attack the prevailing culture. It is not fundamental to Leftism in any way. It is the underlying hate that is fundamental and they recognize as brothers in arms the haters of the Islamic world.
Given the attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki by Democrat President Truman, today’s Leftists probably figure that, if fundamentalist Islam ever became a serious threat to the West (and hence a threat to their own comfort), it would simply be wiped off the map.
That is certainly what they would do if they had their hands on the levers of power.
In the meantime, however, they enjoy the disruption and discomfiture that the Islamists visit on their fellow citzens in the West.

What is the scariest thing I have never heard is some sort of weapon that would be able to take out the entire U.S. power grid. I had never heard of it before. I recently saw a show on the history channel I believe it is called the naked archeologist, it is a jewish archeologist tracking the basis of the Bibles throughout the middle east. I think it was that show, there was this theological theory that the jews were actually comprised of people from many many different tribes; they believe that they congealed to combat oppression and taxation by the Kings of the time. The theory being they were not simply comprised of a certain tribe or ethnic make up, but a varying array of people of many different ethnicity.

That sounds really odd since its not necessarily Judaism as we know it but it was still the Hebrew People living in that area predating what we can to recognize as the Jewish people. Hebrew as a writing system and as a culture predates their Jewish faith so regardless there were Hebrew people settled in that region long before anyone else. No one ever mentions the 2 million Palestinian refugees kept in “temporary” camps in Jordan since the 1967 war. The Jordanians don’t want them and have not let them assimilate, even after 40 plus years. And the Palestinians living in Jordan, as 2nd class non-citizens, live in way worse conditions than they do as Israeli citizens in “occupied” Israel. The East side of Palestine was annexed to the Jordanian king in the 1930′s at the same time that the west side was given to the Israelis. How come we never hear Helen, george here, or anyone else demanding that the Jordanian’s give back the land to the Palestinians?
Jordan is the true occupier of the Arab-Palestinian state. Yet no one seems to ever mention that.
