SEIU Goons Adopt Violent Theme Song for Wisconsin Protests, “Take the Bastards Down, Smash Them to the Ground!”…

First a Democratic Congressman calls for “bloody streets,” now the SEIU’s theme song calls for violence. Note to the left, we’re not stupid, we know exactly we’re you’re going with this . . . and, yes, we are ready.

(The Blaze) — First violent signs, now violent songs.

The band Dropkick Murphys wants to do its part to stand with the Wisconsin protesters. What does that look like? Actually it sounds like a new song, released on union websites including the SEIU’s, that screams such phrases as “take the bastards down!” and “we got to smash them to the ground!”

“As part of the band’s efforts to support the workers, they are working with SEIU and other unions and labor federations to have the song available to be played at rallies across the country,” a post on SEIU’s website says.

In a statement yesterday, the band made it clear that they are avid supporters of the unrest in Wisconsin:

[We] would like to take a moment to acknowledge the struggles of the working people of Wisconsin and to pledge our support and solidarity by releasing the song ‘Take ’Em Down’ from our upcoming album. We think it’s appropriate at the moment and hope you like it. . . The Dropkick Murphys Stand With Wisconsin!!!!! [emphasis original]

Don’t let them bait us which is what this is all about. They will hang themselves (pardon the expression) with this disgusting rhetoric.

So-ooo civil, huh? And I know civil because I can see the U of A Center for Civil Discourse from my house.

And the left is worried about “crosshairs”! What hypocrits. They won’t say a word about this. (The left that is)

Just deleted all their songs from my ipod etc and am no longer a dropkick murphy fan. Yeah, capitalism sucks when you’re an asshole.

Yeah the worst thing to do is engage in violence with them. That’s what they want. What’s the phrase…never interfere with your enemy when they are committing suicide?

What we are witnessing is the total disintegration of the dhimmicrat/union/media complex. When you don’t have the truth on your side, you have to run from debate. When you can’t shout down your opponent, you resort to intimidation.

Stand strong, badgers! We support YOU, not lying union thugs and the politicos they’re in bed with. Don’t let your state go ALL THE WAY down the toilet…

Where’s the friggin’ msm talking heads on all this…I get so sick of the blatant hypocrisy with all of them at times…we all know if any of what has come out in the open like what the Unions are doing and it was the Tea Party Movement instead this would along with other things they’ve done this last week would be 24/7 news.

I’m so glad we have the internet and talk radio.

    Love the Dropkick Murphys!

At least we will spared the misery of Springsteen doing that ” Ghost of Tom Joad”crap -nor the wistful murmurs of the Commie Methuselah Pete Seeger – Thank God for small favors, indeed.

BTW – the song works both ways when you think of it.

Is anybody else getting tired of the Union mouthpeices (and that includes the Dems) always referring to their members as “working people”. Just what does “working people” mean. My guess is it means “people working to fatten the Union bosses wallets”, because they certainly they don’t mean those who toil every week, paying taxes without complaining for years, to support these over rated public union members. Thank god real working people have finally stood up to these mob thugs.

I own my on business and at the moment the business wants to grow. The problem with a business that wants to grow is that it requires more money and time from me, the owner or boss.

Now…I can sit back and take it easy and remain a 5 employee business or work harder and gamble with more money and try and make the business grow.

This song inspires me to stay the same size and tell the guys I don’t hire that I am not hiring them because I want to be their friend and not their enemy.

Why should I bust my ass and work harder just so people can write songs about taking me down?

The mentality of the unions is:

From each according to his ability.
To each according to his union connections.

The new slogan of freed taxpayers everywhere is:

    Taxpayer-funded salaries: Yes
    Taxpayer-funded pensions: NO!

    Now let’s sing!

    Make ‘Em Frown
    by the Short Stick Turkeys

    Times are tough,
    There’s not enough,
But all the state employees do is whine:
“I want mine. I’ll join a picket line ’cuz I need another bottle of wine.
I don’t care what anyone says,
We’re gonna shout like Hugo Chavez.”

The poor taxpayer’s gotta pay two times
As the price of food and gas both climb.
But he’s runnin’ out of money
And it ain’t funny, ’cuz the state employees only whine:
“I want mine. I’ll join a picket line ’cuz I need another bottle of wine.
I don’t care what anyone says,
We’re gonna shout like Hugo Chavez.”

Democrat officials they’ve run out of time,
So they run to Illinois on the taxpayer’s dime.
Have a steak and a lobster and charge it to the state
“Cuz the voters are just suckers there is no debate!

Poor Scott Walker doesn’t want a fight, but he can’t back down now,
Public pensions have looted the state, and there’s no milk left in that cow.
The private sector, for too long hectored by the unrelenting tax collector,
Is tired of waiting and continually paying to the public sector toll collector.

    Times are tough,
    There’s not enough,
But all the state employees whine:
“I want mine. I’ll join a picket line ’cuz I need another bottle of wine.
I don’t care what anyone says,
We’re gonna shout like Hugo Chavez.”
