President Obama: Waving to You Schmoes Sucks

You know he’d rather be giving us the finger.
(New York Magazine) — Waving is an odd thing, if you think about it. It’s like, Hello, look, here is my hand. I’m moving it all around because we can see each other! Most people don’t wave that often, but President Obama does it all the time, whether for a crowd or a camera. Not because he necessarily wants to, but because it’s expected of him. The president is supposed to be a friendly and folksy character, and waving as if he gives a shit helps to foster such an image. Usually, Obama pulls it off just fine, with a big happy grin. But sometimes, he just can’t fake it, and the look on his face reveals how grudgingly and unenthusiastically he is performing this charade for us.

Let’s face it, he is really not a nice guy at heart.
@Mike nice guys don’t plan with their radical Weather Undergroumd buddies to kill, oh, I mean eliminate 25 million (not adjusted for population growth so more like 40 million now) of their fellow Americans.
Do you think they changes their plans in the past 30 years?

What he’s thinking: “Oh, look…the peasants.”
Didn’t he volunteer for the job?
That’s his military salute
He is waving his fingers all the time because they are habitually up his ass and he is trying to get rid of the stink!
God, I hate him.
Me too Axel. Priviledged puke. Sorry disgrace. NOT an American.
Oh how I despise that thing!
“Damn peasants! You voted for the Tea Party and you expect to smile and wave at you?”
Wonder what images we are not seeing that show his utter contempt for this country and its citizens? He’s not even trying to hide it. Goes along with the diagnosis of narcissistic personality disorder.
Any of this sound familiar? Narcissistic personality disorder symptoms may include:
■Believing that you’re better than others
■Fantasizing about power, success and attractiveness
■Exaggerating your achievements or talents
■Expecting constant praise and admiration
■Believing that you’re special and acting accordingly
■Failing to recognize other people’s emotions and feelings
■Expecting others to go along with your ideas and plans
■Taking advantage of others
■Expressing disdain for those you feel are inferior
■Being jealous of others
■Believing that others are jealous of you
■Trouble keeping healthy relationships
■Setting unrealistic goals
■Being easily hurt and rejected
■Having a fragile self-esteem
■Appearing as tough-minded or unemotional
Although some features of narcissistic personality disorder may seem like having confidence or strong self-esteem, it’s not the same. Narcissistic personality disorder crosses the border of healthy confidence and self-esteem into thinking so highly of yourself that you put yourself on a pedestal.
In contrast, people who have healthy confidence and self-esteem don’t value themselves more than they value others.
He looks tired, he and his fat butt wife need a nice long vacation on us.
Notice that since Obama doesn’t feel like waving, the article starts out by telling us that waving is stupid and useless. If Bush showed this disdain for waving, the article would start out by telling us how important waving is for politicians to make a connection with the people.
Im surprised he doesnt just scratch his dick……….oh thats right………
I would be okay if he never waved again. I only wave at people I like…or passerbys in traffic.
Wear is his tie?
WTF?
Independently wealthy, queer as a three dollar bill, where is the tie?
He dresses to the same standard as the wookie…none
Bush would not have done that. Too much class.
Wouldn’t you or I, if finding ourselves in the office of the Presidency, be constantly amazed by the enormous privilege and honor of being in charge of the great country of the US of A?
Then again, I guess being President is a pain in the tuchis if all you want is to get back to the golf course.
