Planned Parenthood Shells out $200K on TV Ads Urging Congress Not to Cut Its Federal Funding…

Which begs the obvious question: If they have $200K to drop on TV ads, then how badly do they really need federal funding?
Via NRO:
In Mike Allen’s morning newsletter, we learn Planned Parenthood will spend $200,000 on television ads, urging Congress to not cut federal funding for Planned Parenthood.
You know, folks, if you can afford to spend $200,000 on television ads, maybe you don’t need all of that federal funding.
Here’s the ad, which conveniently leaves out their main business, killing the unborn:

Planed parenthood sucks and they can’t change what the doctors did or the fact they go after minority’s in large groups.
Congress needs to cut their funding and these people need to go.
They can’t change what they did in the past. its appalling and murder, time to pay your Karmic Debt.
“Planned Parenthod to spend $200,000 on television ads…”
#########################################
thats $200,000 less to spend on womens health…
guess it really isn’t about womens health…
its about maintaining extravagant lifestyles of those who run PP
And any station/show that puts this crap on their air is one I’ll never watch again.
Abortion is big business, as seen by the enormous executive salaries at Int’l Planned Parenthood Fdn (IPPF).
Despite complaints about grant fund cut-backs, the IPPF is raising executive salaries.
[PPFA] Planned Parenthood Fdn of America President Gloria Feldt, earned $460,277 in 2003.
$460,000 in 2003… wonder what it is today…
and all for womens health… right…
Lady, I am sorry that you had breast cancer but if I can use a line you used:
“Without PP, I wouldn’t be here today”
BECAUSE of PP, millions ARE NOT HERE today.
2009 Cecile Richards, President PP
salary….$385,163
benefits…$11,876
2009 Ronda Dean, Vice President, Contraceptive Enterprise PP
salary…..$291,327
plus
benefits….$15,775
I could argue that Planned Parenthood also increases your chances of breast cancer.
That’s what happens with birth control.
2007 Russell Lefevre, Chief Strategic Officer for Planned Parenthood
salary….$284,147
plus
benefits….$25,050
thats three people at PP
making over one million dollars in salary and benefits…
for killing babies…
oh..sorry… I mean womens healthcare…
Thanks, Rob!

Planned Parenthood spent $3,153,843 on overseas activities,
the bulk of it devoted to the Sub-Saharan African region,
where the group lists three offices and 14 employees or agents.
All of its international grants were for “Repro Health.”
Planned Parenthood typically refers to itself as “the nation’s leading sexual and reproductive health care provider and advocate serving women, men, teens and families” but in the Form 990, the group gives perhaps its most detailed description of its mission. Here it is, repeated in full:
The purpose of the federation is:
(A) To provide leadership:
– in making effective means of voluntary fertility regulation, including contraception, abortion, sterilization, and infertility services, available and fully accessible to all as a central element to reproductive healthcare:
– in achieving, through informed individual choice, a U.S. population of stable size in an optimum environment; – in stimulating and sponsoring relevant biomedical, socio-economic, and demographic research;
– in developing appropriate information, education, and training programs.
(B) To support and assist efforts to achieve similar goals in the United States and throughout the world.
The prominent place of “abortion” in this list and the federation’s stated intent to make it “available and fully accessible to all” shows just how central the group believes it is to their goal of “reproductive healthcare.”
Remember that the next time groups like Planned Parenthood try to get “rights” to “reproductive healthcare” inserted into United Nations documents.
The statement also shows that, though the group does not speak publicly of it much anymore, population control is still very much part of the group’s mentality, seen in the goal of “a U.S. population of stable size in an optimum environment…”
It isn’t listed on the 2008 tax return, but Planned Parenthood performed 324,008 abortions at its affiliated clinics that year.
@ econlady
How ironic !!!!
The misguided gal in the ad states at the very end of the commercial:
Honey, countless people can’t use the same propaganda platform today because their voices were permanently silenced in the womb because of Planned Parenthood.
And it’s all Tax Payer $$.
Pence amend. passed and killed Planned Parenthood…what happens in the Senate may be a different matter.
Amen to Pence and others on our side of the aisle who murdered the abortion clinics.
If they dropped $200k on TV ads, just think how much they dropped in campaign contributions.
Should be called Planned Homicide.
is it just me or did that lady look like pant suit…
It’s time to abort Planned Parenthood.
Are there no GYN’s near her? Most hospitals have clinics to serve poor or uninsured patients (she does not look poor) At present these services (minus abortions) are widely available but who knows what happens under Obamacare(taxpayer funded healthcare)
“I could argue that Planned Parenthood also increases your chances of breast cancer.
That’s what happens with birth control.”
That’s what happens with early abortion and the AMA knows it but refuses to educate the public about it. According to the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer:
Even an expert witness for the Center for Reproductive Rights, Dr. Lynn Rosenberg of Boston Medical School, was compelled to agree with this medical fact while under oath: “A woman who finds herself pregnant at age 15 will have a higher breast cancer risk if she chooses to abort that pregnancy than if she carries the pregnancy to term, correct?”
Read all about it at http://www.abortionbreastcancer.com/FAQ/
I was at the market a couple of months ago and the checkout lady asked me if I’d like to donate a dollar to breast cancer research. I said, no way, as long as the AMA knows that there is a link between early abortion and breast cancer and they refuse to tell women about it I’m not giving one dime. The checkout lady looked at me like I had two heads. Whatever.
Also know that when you give money to the Susan G. Komen fund they give to planned parenthood.
Pay out $200,000 to rake in Multi Millions more of free taxpayers money! and the the multi billions they have already received in twenty five or so years!
sounds like they should be self sufficient at this point in time.
{BUT THEY THINK YOU ARE ALL STUPID!!!!! “AND THEIR – CASH COW”!}
If they are not stop all payments to the public entities!
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO Planned Parenthood, N.P.R. & PUBLIC BROADCASTING, ETC.
Well if PLANNED PARENTHOOD had not Aborted all the Minorities like they have for twenty five years or more! the Minority would have been the Majority and the Majority would have been the Minority! Human Engineering by: “Planned Parenthood”
Dr. Mengele would have felt right at home!
Simple Choice!
Cut the funding for Planned Parenthood! And all the dregs on America!!!!!!
or start packing your bags & boxes! 2012! You may very well be NEXT!
