“Remarkable Turnaround”: Obama Regime Gives US Support to International Criminal Court For First Time…
Every leftist’s wet-dream, handing over US sovereignty to a foreign organization. Even with the supposed exemptions Obama asked for, he’s opening a door that should have remained welded shut.
(ABC News) — The U.N. resolution imposing tough sanctions against Libya marked the first time that the United States has given its support to the International Criminal Court and signified a remarkable turnaround, though it includes a key exemption demanded by the Obama administration.
The resolution adopted unanimously by the Security Council on Saturday refers the actions of Moammar Gadhafi’s regime since Feb. 15 to the court’s prosecutor who must decide whether there is enough evidence of alleged crimes against humanity to warrant a full investigation. Prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo is required to deliver an initial report to the council in two months.
“It’s a historic vote by the United States government because it’s the first time in a Security Council resolution the United States has voted affirmatively on the side of the International Criminal Court,” said Richard Dicker, head of the International Justice Program at Human Rights Watch. “That’s a positive step.”

In another act so egregious that it was reported by Judge Napolitano on Fox News, the already notorious gangsters with badges known as The Sarasota Police Department in Sarasota, Florida, have pulled another one of their newsworthy, outrageous stunts, conducting illegal searches and seizures on the whims of juvenile and moronic cops who routinely behave like cowboys and thugs – not professional cops. A routine occurrence in Sarasota which should have been investigated and terminated by Florida’s Department Of Law Enforement and State Police long before this. I’m a law ‘n order guy who has always supported police. But the cops and their superiors in Sarasota should have been certainly reined-in and severely disciplined, if not arrested themselves a long, long time ago. At the very least, they are a huge embarrassment and a very real danger to that community, more so than other criminals are..
I’m more concerned about that than I am about Sharia Law, or about subjecting U.S. Citizens to a world court.
