The young people can claim ignorance. A large number will eventually grow out of the adolescent fantasies as they take more responsibility in life.

The older people in the movement have been around long enough to have seen their programs tried, and to see them fail miserably. The old Liberals come from money (Hollywood) and have never really been in a position of responsibility. They have never met a payroll……they have never done without…..and there has always been a scapegoat somewhere near by to blame their personal failures on. Whatever bad thing happens, it’s always someone else’s fault.

I hope that the College age kids have been keeping a close eye on what obama and his goons have been up to and realize that there won’t be any good jobs waiting for them once they get out of college.

But they have been indoctrinated for the last 14 years of their lives with the lefts socialist beliefs and have no clue about what it takes to find and to keep a decent paying job in the real world.

Then in 2008, just by coincidence, a female black crew member who all the NASCAR people thought was just “one of the guys” files a big lawsuit and gets a huge settlement. Coincidence? Not likely. Jackson is swindling crook just like his buddy Barry.

That term “non-violent revolution” sounds nice – please give me an example, particularly one that has succeeded? “Revolutions”, by their very nature, almost always become violent to someone. It’s a nice theoretical exercise to talk of non-violent revolution, but once you have kicked it off you have very little control. Despite the media prattling on about the “wisdom of the masses”, there is really very little “wisdom” practiced by a mob.

gastorgrab: Old, young, liberals never learn. By definition, they always think that things will work out right if only they are in charge. For every failure they can always point to something that wasn’t “done right”, and that ultimate success is assured if only thus and such is done instead. They look at Soviet Russia and don’t see a failure of Communism. Instead they see a failure of implementation; the underlying system is still bright and shiny and ultimately full of promise to them, if only it can be implemented correctly. And they are willing to keep trying until they get it “correct.”

I have an idea. Maybe college students should learn something, graduate, and become productive citizens. How novel would that be/
