Mexican President Joins Obama in Calling for “Comprehensive” Immigration Reform Legalizing Illegal Aliens in America…

(CNSNews.com) — Mexican President Felipe Calderon yesterday joined President Barack Obama in calling for “comprehensive” immigration reform, a term used to describe reform that includes granted legal status to illegal aliens in the United States.
“We have also discussed immigration, an issue on which both countries have responsibilities,” Obama said, standing next to Calderon during a White House joint news conference.
“As I told President Calderón, I remain deeply committed to fixing our broken immigration system with comprehensive reform that continues to secure our borders, enforces our laws — including against businesses that break the law — and requiring accountability from undocumented workers,” Obama said. “And we have to conduct this debate in a way that upholds our values as a nation of both laws and immigrants. So I’m eager to work with Republicans and Democrats to get this reform done, which is vital to the U.S. economy.”

No legalization, no amnesty. US citizens were promised border and worksite enforcement to end illegal immigration when the “one-time only” legalization program was passed in 1986. 25 years later, we are still waiting for the promised enforcement. We need mandatory E-Verify to check all employees, current and future. When there are less than 200,000 illegal workers in the workforce, down from the current 7 million +, only then can we even begin to discuss anything other than enforcement.
The Dems need this by the next election in order to win.

I think we may as well do away with “LEGAL” immigration. Why should people wait for years to come to this Country “LEGALLY” when they can just come “ILLEGALLY”, wait a few years and get amnesty. Regarding the Obama administration’s illegal immigration policies, which is pretty much the same as those of the last three previous presidencies, “fuzzy logic” seems to be the order of the day. The reality is that we have somewhere around 20 million people living in the United States illegally. They became outlaws the day they entered. Those who are working are breaking more laws by committing fraud. Additionally, since we have no way of screening these lawbreakers, we should not be surprised to find that 30% of all prison inmates are illegal aliens. Federal law requires that all illegal aliens be arrested, and deported. Yet the fuzzy logic is to ignore the law and look at the potential for increasing the tax base and political power. Even if amnesty were even remotely acceptable, the failure to stem the tide of this insidious invasion gives new definition to the term “fuzzy logic”.
