Poll: Only 11% Say Communism Better Than American Economics System…
Not so fast Newsweek.
Michael Moore reported to be inconsolable.
(Rasmussen) — Communism as an ideological force largely died with the collapse of the Soviet Union 20 years ago, but even with many of its horrors increasingly forgotten, U.S. voters overwhelmingly reject the ideology that contended for world dominance for much of the 20th Century.
Still, 11% of Likely U.S. Voters think communism is morally superior to the U.S. system of politics and economics, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. But 77% disagree and say the U.S. system is morally superior. Thirteen percent (13%) are not sure.
Communism calls for the elimination of all private property with everything owned in common, and voters even more emphatically reject it as an economic theory. Eighty-seven percent (87%) say, in practical terms, free market economies work better than communist economies. Only four percent (4%) say communist economies work better.
Similarly, 80% of voters say the U.S. system of politics and economics is better for middle class workers than communism is. Ten percent (10%) say communism is a better option, and another 10% are undecided.

And yet the far left keep pushing for it regardless of what the American people say about it. And what’s with 10% not knowing what they think about something as crucial as this?
Well first there is all the success stories of Communism…uhh well they killed a lot of people efficiently.
And who could compete with the economic powers of North Korea, Cuba, Vietnam, and China. I mean when China gets to the point that all the males won’t have females the economy is really going to skyrocket.
And weren’t people in Berlin just fixing to get over that wall to go to the communist part of town.
Can’t see why people in the United States would be against this.

Those 11% who think Communism will work here ought to live in Cuba or North Korea for a year. Then perhaps, they’ll be wise.

THANK YOU for referencing Paul Kengor and his book “Dupes.” I’m currently reading it and have been STUNNED by the well-documented information. This country has been infiltrated by Communists for decades. Our education system, churches and synagogues, government, judicial system, news media, entertainment, “peace” movements, etc., etc. have all been sullied. The Commies left no stone unturned and have used progressives and liberals to push their agenda, whether progs or libs were aware of it or not. An amazing book that is a must-read.
And that 11 percent want to take our money and redistribute it to their elite friends under the guise of socialism. The communists want to own us, tether us to the state using chains to keep the peasants poor and dependant upon said 11 percent. If they hate America so much why don’t they move to Russia and enjoy the fruits of communism?

Kengor’s “Big Dupes” articles over at the Big Peace site are amazingly good, and are summaries and supplemental to his book. They back up what you are saying. If one looks at the Communist Goals from 1963:

Take that same pole among NPR listeners and you will see a radical difference.
First, you people are all crazy.
Second, given that communism is villified non-stop and that there is no communist movement to speak of in this country beyond a dozen or so sects with at best a few hundred members each (the Communist Party has some more but they are almost all in their 80s), 11% support for communism is actually very high. You can put “Only 11%” in your headline, but the obvious news here is that more than one out of ten likely voters prefer communism to capitalism.
So the question is why? Because it ain’t the work of actual communists (your paranoid delusions about corporate-tool Obama notwithstanding). I submit that the credit should be shared between Wall Street and you Tea Party clowns (aka Wall Street’s useful idiots). Keep up the good work. This communist thanks you for your efforts.
