Hillary Clinton: No U.S. Intervention In Syria Because Assad Is A “Reformer”…

I’m not saying I want America to intervene in Syria, but no reasonable person would consider the Iranian-puppet and jihadist-supporting Bashar al-Assad a “reformer.” If anything, you could make a case for Gaddafi after he gave up his WMD program during the Bush-era. Assad, however, allowed al-Qaeda to funnel foreign fighters into Iraq, where Hamas’ leadership is based, and every Palestinian terror faction under the sun has a welcome presence in Syria. I could go on and on but you already know the facts.

U.S. Won’t Intervene in Syria as Assad Differs From Qaddafi, Clinton Says — Bloomberg

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the U.S. won’t enter into the internal conflict in Syria the way it has in Libya.

“No,” Clinton said, when asked on the CBS “Face the Nation” program if the U.S. would intervene in Syria’s unrest. Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad’s security forces clashed with protesters in several cities yesterday after his promises of freedoms and pay increases failed to prevent dissent from spreading across the country.

Clinton said the elements that led to intervention in Libya — international condemnation, an Arab League call for action, a United Nations Security Council resolution — are “not going to happen” with Syria, in part because members of the U.S. Congress from both parties say they believe Assad is “a reformer.”

Aw c’mon y’all, how can anyone not agree with Her Royal Thighness that Assad is a reformer? Not to mention those conveniently un-named members of congress–from BOTH parties, according to Hilly.

See, when Assad’s security forces opened up on the unarmed demonstrators, that was actually a big step forward for Baby Assad, since his daddy would have had them all jailed and tortured, and *then* shot.

So…see? You wingers are just too dense to understand the “nuanced” language used in international diplomacy!

Yeah, Zero’s sympathies may lie with Sunni over Shia, but when it comes to losing Hezbollah’s biggest supporter outside of Iran, and a major terrorist base for almost every other Islamist group fighting Israel, it will never be in Zero’s plans to topple Assad, that will be resisted as strongly as possible.

From Zero’s view Libya is a win-win, either his buddy K survives, or he gets the radically anti-Israel, terrorist, pro-Sharia, MB and Al-qaeda.

” … international condemnation, an Arab League call for action, a United Nations Security Council resolution …”

These three elements will decide whether future interventions will occur. So there should be no trouble at all getting a military intervention against Israel, should she try and defend herself.

I bet she thinks he’s a “moderate” muslim too. He may well be a “reformer”; depends on the meaning of the word in his context.

It appears to me that they have their list on which countries they will encourage revolution in and which they won’t; depends on how friendly to global governance the regimes are.
