Bill Ayers: There’s a Ghost of a Chance

Jack Cashill has been on Obama’s case for the last three years. Last week Ayers spoke at Montclair University and was confronted with the question from someone in the audience about the book’s authorship.

(American Thinker) — With his final comment, the Ayers-friendly audience laughed in relief. The media will laugh nervously upon seeing the video as well. The White House will not.

Barack Obama knows what I know and what the people who have read my book, “Deconstructing Obama,” know: Bill Ayers is the principal craftsman behind Dreams. The evidence is overwhelming.

Ayers also established, as I have contended from the beginning, that he is not the author of Audacity of Hope. Although Obama claims unique authorship of this book too, it was, as Ayers suggests, a disingenuous feint to the center written by committee.

Worse for Obama still, Ayers knows that the story he and Obama contrived in Dreams is false in many key details. The fact that Donald Trump has proved willing to challenge that story has got to make the White House even more apprehensive.

As was obvious in his speech at Montclair, Ayers does not like the application of force in Libya, and this may have been his own way of retaliating. Consider it a shot across Obama’s bow. The White House will.

“Ayers does not like the application of force in Libya”

Ayers probably shouldn’t have fomented a revolution, then.

I’ve read Cashill’s columns. He makes a very compelling case. I’ve also read Obama’s published work, and I’ve gotta say, I’m with Cashill.

This is not the first time he’s hinted at this. There was a video that went around last year showing a guy recording him at an airport where he made some pretty hefty claims on his authorship of Obama’s books and he didn’t look like he was joking either.

OK, look, Ayers probably did write some or most of Dreams. But, clearly, he is joking here and being sarcastic. This is NOT an admission by any stretch of the imagination. Definitely not the video to support any claims of his authorship of Dreams although I’m sure there is proof somewhere!

What is that eividence, if any, that Barack Obama actually wrote Dreams? Obama has no history of writing anything, and can harely speak withouit a teleprompter. All you have is Obama’s word that he wrote the book, and Obama’s word is not worth the paper on which it is written.

Somebody wrote Dreams, and it is certainly was not Barack Hussien Obama. Ayers seems the best candidate

I’ve read Cashill’s book “Deconstructing Obama” and there is NO doubt in my mind that Ayers wrote “Dreams From My Father”.

Ayers got screwed out of a lot of money.

People who have not yet read, or have not read for some time, Ralph Ellison’s superb novel Invisible Man, should make it a point to do so.

Invisible Man was the novel of the early days of the Civil Rights Movement. It chronicles the odyssey of an unnamed black narrator from his small Southern town to a black college, from which he is expelled, to New York where, after getting and losing a job, he is hired by a group called “the Brotherhood”—a thinly-fictionalized Communist Party—as spokesman for the Harlem chapter. In this role he is the dupe/frontman for the “Brotherhood,” which uses him to foment a race riot—in the course of which he realizes how he has been duped.

Ayers would have read this novel; it was current at the time he was coming to radical politics. Obama, likely, would not have; it was popular before his time, and he does not strike one as being sufficiently intellectually curious to have sought it out. It is impossible to read this novel without being reminded of the relationship between Ayers and Obama.

Ellison, by the way, was a reasonably conservative man, and his novel is on the short list, in my opinion, for Great American Novel of the Twentieth Century. Invisible Man is a work of fiction, but like Robert Penn Warren’s All the King’s Men, it is an essential read for understanding American politics and society.

The deconstruction of the false candidate, and elected by fools. Interwoven, descended from and dependent on terrorists both domestic and international. If this house of cards held up by skin color finally falls, it will be Homeric.

Yes, Obama is a “stunt-man” stand in, the puppet whom the left socialists hyped as the savior for “change”.
Well, the Obama house of cards has fallen down, and all that is left is the “stunt man”, a puppet, who will now cause the fall of the Democratic Party.

Obama can’t write a shopping list let alone a book. he probably has trouble just signing his own name.. Whichever name that is?… I’m sure he has a stamp and the Czars just go from there.

But writing a book.. no never happened.. Is is a fraud and a liar and worse of all a traitor to America.. I want him gone. 2012 is to long of a wait.

Another goody from Cashill’s Deconstructing Obama:

(Cashill quotes Christopher Hitchens here regarding Michelle Obama’s senior thesis @ Princeton)

“To describe the thesis as hard to read would be a mistake; the thesis cannot be ‘read’ at all, in the strict sense of the verb. This is because it wasn’t written in any known language.”

“What is that eividence, if any, that Barack Obama actually wrote Dreams? ”

It’s about the same as the evidence for every other author of every other book if the test is “did I see him write it myself”. Let’s not pretend you’re waiting for anything less to sway you.

“Obama has no history of writing anything, and can harely speak withouit a teleprompter.”

Really? He was the editor of the Harvard Law Review. You thinking they’re pretty big on oral submissions? Maybe they did some extensive reviews of things they heard people say at the foodcourt that one time. Legal academia, they do love their bookcases full of fake cardboard prop books don’t they.

Honestly I don’t understand why, if you’re willing to believe something this ridiculous, you don’t just lie. Claiming he was never at Harvard is only slightly less plausible, plus you get to write it any way you like. You will be just as convincing and have just as much credibility. I really don’t get it.

Obama wrote nothing while he was “editor” of the Harvard Law Review. He was elected by his classmates, which means that he basically was shoehorned in on the basis of charm and multicultural bullshit. The few people who have come forward that served on the Review with him have said that his attendance was rare, his work rarer.

His Law Review credit is basically an affirmative-action fraud, something that was extremely common during the period he was in school.

“Obama wrote nothing while he was “editor” of the Harvard Law Review”

Like I said, then I guess it’s lucky someone heard him at the foodcourt that one time say something impressive to land one of the most prestigious positions in legal academia.
Personally, I’m trying to get into Princeton to based on a pie-chart I’m putting together. Colors and everything.

Meanwhile, Bill Ayres has one, lame, obvious, retold word-for-word joke that he tells at speaking gigs in rooms smaller than my office, where he tells those 8 people about overthrowing the system or society or starting their own space program or whatever. When someone this pathetic is taking the piss out of you, it’s maybe a hint that you’re worthy of ridicule.

He said he said he was looking for someone to help him prove this and your brain said OMG I’ve gotta get my CV together and apply for this amazing job offer. Seriously, if the excuse isn’t drugs, what’s your explanation for this behavior?

    Sanz:

Yes. Obama wrote nothing while he was “editor” of the Harvard Law Review. What about this do you not understand? He wrote nothing—even though it is customary for editors to do so.

His appointment to an editorship was an affirmative-action fraud. Some people jib at this plain statement of fact, but it remains true that he was elected by the students rather than earning the spot with his (nonexistent) prior writings, and wrote nothing while there. What else, then, is one to call his occupation of this coveted position than an affirmative-action fraud?

I don’t think Barack is talented enough to receive the Peace Prize with a straight face without first having had a rehearsal.
