Sen. Dick Durbin(D-himmi) Sends Letter of Support to Hamas-Tied CAIR for “Promoting Tolerance”…
And don’t forget, tomorrow Dhimmi Durbin is holding his “Islamophobia” congressional hearings.
On March 29, 2011, Senator Durbin will hold Congressional hearings on the status of American Muslims’ civil rights. The hearing is scheduled for 10AM (EST) in Room 226 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C.
The release announcing the hearing said it is in response to the “spike in anti-Muslim bigotry in the last year including Quran burnings, restrictions on mosque construction, hate crimes, hate speech, and other forms of discrimination.”
“Our Constitution protects the free exercise of religion for all Americans,” Durbin said. “During the course of our history, many religions have faced intolerance. It is important for our generation to renew our founding charter’s commitment to religious diversity and to protect the liberties guaranteed by our Bill of Rights.”
Senator Durbin recently sent a letter of support to CAIR-Chicago. Here is an excerpt from the letter:
“CAIR-Chicago advances a greater understanding of the Muslim culture and serves as an essential thread in the multicultural fabric of our nation. Your efforts to advocate for tolerance promote the civil liberties of all communities.” — Dick Durbin

Holding a Congressional hearing respecting an establishment of religion is no different from Congress making a law respecting an establishment of religion.

How can a law maker have direct contact with an unindicted co-conspirater in a terriorist org??
How can he have contact with an org that openly encourages people not to cooperate with the FBI and who the FBI cut ties with?
CAIR advances a greater understanding of Muslim culture? Well, he’s right. They help me to understand how sly and deceiving those who support CAIR are. And any culture or society that wishes to advance their own laws before the laws and ideals this nation was founded upon is not a necessary thread.

It’s all ugly politics. He must have a large number of muslims in his district and wants their votes. Except, if he were honest and truly concerned about discrimination, he would have a hearing on why hate crimes against Jews is so high. The most recent FBI statistics in 2009: 8.4% of religious hate crimes were anti-muslim, nearly 72% of religious hate crimes were anti-Jewish (muslims in US faced 107 incidents of bias in 2009; Jews faced 931). In NY there were 251 hate attacks against Jews, 11 attacks against muslims; Los Angeles hate attacks: 88% Jews, muslims 3% – so Mr. Durbin, who are the real victims?
