(The Hill) — Even though budget negotiations between Democrats and Republicans have resumed on Capitol Hill, the war of words between the two parties is alive and well.
Perhaps no better example has come than what was on offer Wednesday night, when sharp-tongued Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) accused Republican lawmakers of being in “cloud cuckoo land” for their maneuvers in the spending debate.

Perhaps I’m reading Swinney’s post wrong because it seems to be a mish-mash of copy and paste lefty talking points. If it’s sarcasm I missed it.
Very rarely do I get to use the word nephelococcygia, but the headline and Barney’s words begged it. It literally means “Cloud cuckoo land,” from a play written by Aristophanes. It is also the term used to describe the act of naming shapes in clouds.

What Clarence Swinney fails to mention is that Clinton didn’t go after the muzzies that cause 9-11. Also Bush warned congress of Fannie and Freddie and it was even printed in the NY Times.
A September 11, 2003 New York Times article shows that President Bush proposed “the most significant regulatory overhaul in the housing finance industry since the savings and loan crisis a decade ago.” His proposal: An agency within the Treasury Department to supervise mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Fearing that mortgages would no longer be available to people who were unable to pay them back, Democrats eventually killed the proposal. The current meltdown in the mortgage industry is a direct result of giving mortgages to people who could not pay them back, a practice protected by Congressional Democrats.
Both entities were recently taken over by the government, a move that puts trillions of taxpayer dollars at risk.
It seems the Libtards are so stupid that they do even look past what someone tells them without looking for any truth. If you really want to know the Dems have been in control of 2 out of 3 of these (Senate,House and President) for all but 10 years since WW2. The wonder this country has been going downhill since then. Hell Vietnam was a Dem problem. So wasn’t Iran in the late 70′s. And who controlled congress during the first Gulf War? The only reason Clinton had a surplus was because of the GOP controlling Congress the last 6 years of his term in office.
