   Since when does congress read anything? Reading accomplishes nothing, since one must pass the bills before one knows what is in them according to Pope Skeletor Pelosi I.

   So here is another a hole that took an oath to uphold the Constitution and now he doesn’t want to? Basically I see this as treasonous and he should be handed over the the FBI on these grounds. Maybe we can find a place for him at Gitmo.

    Hi, ZIP… OT: I’m using Firefox 3.?? to view the home page with XP Pro and other than the first video link of the black Congressman all the other videos are mismatched to the stories or aren’t there–just the blank space reserved for the video shows. All the separate story pages work fine and have the proper video with the story. So it’s just the home page that’s not appearing properly.

    Well Senator McDermott, my suggestion to you is that if you are tired of reading the constitution the perhaps it is time for you to go back home and tend the roses, or whatever it is that you folks on the left do when you retire, and allow the good folks of your state to elect someone else, who takes their oath of office more seriously.

    Perhaps if you guys had done your job last year as you were supposed to (i.e., passing the FY11 budget) instead of running away from it and playing political games, you wouldn’t be doing this stuff for the past 13 weeks.

    Sorry that you think trying to trim your excesses and get our monster budget under control is “silly stuff”, but there you go. I see that retirement is going to be tough for you, only having your own money to spend and not being able to just whip out the old wallet and write a check on the taxpayer for whatever largess you feel inclined to give, but hey, that’s what it is like to be a taxpayer. We would LOVE to welcome you back into the ranks.

    The same dumb asses that voted McCain back in office because he said he was against illegals after voted 6 times to give them amnesty, but I guess his voting record doesn’t count, it’s what he says that counts, to dumb to vote.

    He doesn’t read because professionally he is a Psychiatrist. Come to think of it he doesn’t listen so well either. He is elected from the most liberal area of Seattle and that is saying something. He is an embarrassment to all of Washington State.
