   Sure we can send her is. She’d be like that lady on the news the other day claiming about the thugs raping her. These libs are so fast to put people in harms way, but they want the military to do it. Sometimes I think we should bring back the draft back to get some of these people in the military, but then again most of them wouldn’t pass the entrance tests they make them take. Off course there is always a need for latrine maintenance people. Heck for what they are full off they’d need to be close anyways.

   Cruise missiles work a lot better when you actually aim them at what you want destroyed.

   No one however, is currently shooting any missiles at Gadaffi. Instead of directing military force at the source of the stated problem, the “multinational force” is creating an excuse to rebuild Libya by wrecking every last bit of it.

    Ms. Feinstein, I am a bit confused. Perhaps you are unaware of this, but you can’t just waltz into a sovereign nation and arrest someone you don’t like. You don’t actually have jurisdiction to do that. And I know you on the left are big on jurisdiction.

    Now if we were at war with Libya, we could send in a spec ops team to try and extract him; but we aren’t at war are we? No, we are conducting “kinetic military operations” in support of a “man-made disaster”. There has been no declaration of war, in fact, the President hasn’t even discussed the issue with Congress as far as I can recall.

    And if we were to call the current “situation” we are in a “war”, we would still have a problem, since the President has assured the nation that there will be no boots on the ground, no US aircraft overhead, and that we will limit ourselves to cruise missiles and perhaps naval bombardment. Both of these are good at leaving large chunks of debris around, as well as assorted body parts, but not so good at actually “arresting” anyone.

    I suppose you could ask “pretty please” for Mr. Gaddafi to give himself up, or perhaps you could whistle up a new UN resolution to that effect, but really, those haven’t worked so well so far, have they?

    (The scary part is, the proggies actually BELIEVE this shit. I had proggie acquaintances after 9/11 earnestly opine that we needed to send the “international police” to “arrest” OBL.)
