Really? Where does it say “innocent until proven guilty” in the Code of Hammurabi? And, once you’ve found that—I’m betting it will take you a while, since the Code of Hammurabi is not real accessible—maybe you can explain how that principle managed to get into our law, but not into French law, where you have to prove your innocence?
Maybe after you’ve explained that, you can explain how the laws of the US were based on the Code of Hammurabi, which was not, of course, even known of at the time the Constitution was written—while the many Biblical laws safeguarding the rights of the innocent were?

If I were a state legislator, trying to allay a clamoring constituency concerned about creeping sharia, I’d pass a resolution. Not a law, a resolution. It would be sufficient for purposes of re-asserting the primacy of American law over sharia law, without having to generate a lot of expensive, possible ineffective, and most probably embarrassing, enforcement.
The language of the resolution could simply state that the laws enacted by the democratically-elected government of (your state here) are the law of the land, and any laws passed by any religious body have no standing or effect against them. There are doubtless problems with that wording, but then I’m no lawyer. But it could be worded to make it clear that polygamy, wife-beating, honor-killing, keeping household slaves, funding or otherwise supporting terrorist groups, or letting little boys whip themselves with razors during Ashura are all right out of the question in our land and under our laws.
And, to come clean, I should say that I believe these matters are due to be clarified, after decades of multiculturalism. Some years ago the Canadian province of Ontario toyed with the idea of permitting sharia law to be practiced there. They dropped the idea, in part because of the protests of otherwise liberal Muslim women activists like Alia Hogben. She knew what would be in store for Muslim women if fundamentalist Muslim men were given the whip hand. The Land Of The Free should do no less.
AGAIN- This is a LEGAL and a cultural issue, not a racial or religious one. Islam REQUIRES treatment of gays, women & others that is ILLEGAL under US Constitution and US laws. Amazing to me how the left misses or more likely ignores this. (At their peril, methinks.) Muslims are allowed to lie to Infidels. (That’s me and maybe you, too.) So much for the Oaths to support and defend the US Constitution and US laws, required to be sworn by all US government workers. One can lie on the Bible, the Koran, the US Constitution, whatever. This sharia-compliance push is part of strategy for eventual conquest, possibly without even the need of open Jihad (open warfare with full force of weaponry). This is why that ‘moderate majority of Moslems’ is such a dangerous SELF-DECEPTION on our part.
Talking about not allowing Sharia, while at the same time, failing to stop and REVERSE (by deportation) Moslem immigration, will get us nowhere and, eventually, thanks to ‘refugees’ (from all those convenient ‘Arab revolutions’), student visas, family reunions, ‘exchange of qualified professional personnel’ (anyone noticed Obama has listed ‘religious leaders’ — i.e. imams — among those professionals he wants brought over in the thousands as part of that ‘exchange program’?) — all of this Moslem INVASION will eventually bring about either civil war or unthinking compliance with Islam.
