Federal Debt Jumped $54.1 Billion in 8 Days Preceding Obama-Boehner Deal to Cut $38.5 Billion for Rest of Year

To put things in perspective.

(CNS) — The federal debt increased $54.1 billion in the eight days preceding the deal made by President Barack Obama, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D.-Nev.) and House Speaker John Boehner (R.-Ohio) to cut $38.5 billion in federal spending for the remainder of fiscal year 2011, which runs through September.

The debt was $14.2101 trillion on March 30, according to the Bureau of the Public Debt, and $14.2642 on April 7.

Since the beginning of the fiscal year on Oct. 1, 2010, the national debt has increase by $653.4 billion.

I want to add that I am more pissed at John Boehner than Barack Obama today.

    That’s a first.

The destruction of America beckons. Should we resign ourselves to it because of one “minor” setback. I abhor PP as much as next guy but let’s get real. Politics is politics and you can’t win every battle. I am reserving judgment on the GOP leadership for the next 6 months. By then it will be clear if they plan to truly fight for this country’s survival or if they plan to fiddle as it burns.

So what was cut? I find it interesting that throughout the blogosphere and the media there is not a clear list of what was cut. Suggests to me that this was all a show — devoid of substance.

I know what was not cut — Obamacare.

Political kabuki dance. Both parties are not serious. Fast track to national socialism. De-evolution of society.

There will be plenty of cutting once the dollar is worthless.

They wanted 100 billion, but obama said he was going to veto anything that didn’t give in to his wishes and to use the military who need paychecks to eat is just wrong.

Again the Republicans wanted to fund the military full and take them out of this budget a month back, but again they were stopped by the left.

So of you don’t like the deal, burn the phones up of every one that voted for this and let them know it’s not enough, cut the spending now

They cut 38 billion, when the debt is going up by trillions. This is proof right here, that the REPUBLICANS are no different than the DEMOCRATS.

They both think they did something great. Yet as usual they wasted alot of time doing nothing.

Cant wait for 2012. We seriously need to clean house. ALL of them need to go.

I received an email today from the Democratic Party (Sorry, but I like to know what the enemy is thinking) applauding the defeat of the Republican Party with honorable mention to the Tea Party – indicating they didn’t lose shit; and in so many words, handed the Conservatives their proverbial asses! I was going to post it but had to delete the E before I destroyed my computer.

    I am not happy!

We must get rid of the RINO’S, and the rest of the dregs of humanity that make up the political elite, NOW!! Or we aree really are screwed!

Both GRIZZ, better safe than sorry.

“The Bailout” was both delay and accelerator. When we see the rats deserting, as in those with money getting out, we will know collapse is imminent.

According to the Bible God supplies our need and as evidenced by all of the cemeteries I have seen around sometimes we need to die. So what shall we do with the time we have? Whatever we do only God can provide us with more and if he does it won’t be because of anything us humans have done.
