Opposing the FCC’s usurpation of power over the Internet is the opposite of “shutting the Internet down.”
Growing up in an environment where everyone around you is a Democrat, it gets ingrained in you that if you are a “good” person (and most everyone wants to see themselves as a good person) then you will be a Democrat. Therefore, it also becomes ingrained that if “good” people choose to be Democrats, then there is something inherently evil about those that choose to be Republicans.
For those of us that have crossed over from identifying as solid liberals, it’s tough at first to overcome the sense of “guilt”, however unfounded, that comes when you first find yourselves agreeing with most of what your supposed “enemies” (aka, those defined as such by Stewart/Colbert) say.
We better get someone out their blowing these despicable cretins out of the water. They all have their talking points never once can they speak their minds without sounding like a drone. Democrats are useless, liberals are worse.
He like the others in DC need to have their ” blind trust ” accounts opened for an audit. This non sense about global warming is about boosting share prices in the companies they are invested in. I would not be shocked if the blind trusts were managed by a Soros investment group subsidiary. These politicians only care about fattening their wallets and getting re-elected to the ultimate welfare check non- job. An elimination of pensions, benefits and other perks along with an audit of the blind trust system will keep these scumbags from running for office.
