Trump Takes on the Koran: “There’s Something There That Teaches a Very Negative Vibe”…
The inevitable CAIR piss-and-moan fest can’t be far away.
Well, I’ll tell you what, the Koran is very interesting. A lot of people say it teaches love and there has to be a — there is — a very big group of people that, who really understand the Koran far better than I do; I’m certainly not an expert to put it mildly. But there’s something there that teaches some very negative vibe. I mean, things that are happening, when you look at people blowing up all over the streets of some of the countries over in the Middle East, I mean, just, you know, blowing up a super market with not even soldiers, not even ours, they’re just people, when 250 people die in a super market that are shopping, where people die in a store or in a street — there’s a lot of hatred there someplace. Now I don’t know if that’s from the Koran. I don’t know if that’s from, you know, someplace else, but this tremendous hatred out there that I’ve never seen anything like it. So, you know, you have two views: You have the view that the Koran is all about love and then you have the view that the Koran is, is, there’s a lot of hate in the Koran.

Why don’t you pick up a copy or investigate on the internet before shooting your mouth off? Someone talking like Trump is here is like the proverbial fish in the barrel for CAIR–not only can they call him racist with impugnity (he admits to being ignorant), but they can send him their own taquiyya-filled “educational information” before he gets properly informed.

I am not on the “Trump for President” bandwagon, but he is doing what McCain should have done in ’08. And, FWIW, many of these are the same issues Palin wanted to address before being reined in by McCain’s idiotic campaign staff. I know I am tired of the squishiness from most of the R’s and Trump’s bluntness, like Chris Christie’s, is refreshing. I just hope he doesn’t “Ross Perot” the Republican candidate by running as an Indy.

Not sure what he is up to – BUT I am enjoying that he is stirring the pot and trashing through some of the PC bullshit – I just hope he doesn’t become an election spoiler by third party route. If he is in cahoots with the GOP (or doing it intentionally on his own) and attacking obamao, islam and other “taboos” – then more power to him and we would owe him a debt of gratitude for same.

I would be absolutely floored if Trump has actually read the Koran.
While I have no idea how far a “Trump For President” campaign would go, at least he’s out there saying what must be said. I give him big props for that. And the issues he’s raising guarantee he will be flamed by the left and their MSM lapdogs. He’s got guts. Let’s hope that spreads to the rest of the GOP.
I think Trump is kinda backing into this … I think he is sincere when he says “I love America, and I hate what is happening to the country”.. I think he just got tired of the PC crap and started speaking out, and now he’s being asked about things he hasn’t prepared for, like the Koran (… uh, I haven’t read the Koran, can you think of any reason why a sane, self made Billionaire like Trump would read the Koran?)
He acknowledged upfront that he didn’t know much about it .. I’m sure many of us here know more than Trump does about a lot of things that don’t concern him personally, I think he’s just decided to get involved because he doesn’t like Obama and what is happening to America. Running for President was probably an after thought.. he certainly isn’t an activist and he doesn’t need the money .. so he needs to be brought up to date on a lot of stuff, he’s an accomplished chief executive, he can come up to speed quickly if he puts his mind to it..
Having said that, I like Trump, but I’m concerned about some things … I’d like to know that he is all in… and I’d like to know that he is going to get lots of advice before taking over the oil fields in Libya or Iraq… also that he is going to get lots of advice before make big decisions about those who hold our debt and can trash the dollar if we don’t play smart..
I don’t want a loose cannon to replace the traitor that is trying to destroy America … but there is a lot I like about Trump.

I am 100% in support of Trump politically- but sadly, he’s demonstrating here that he is just another Westerner who is *projecting* Judeo-Christian *values* and sensibilities onto a religion and people to whom Judeo-Christian values are utterly *alien.*
