Obama Admin Heaps Praise on Al-Jazeera, “They’re a Really Important Media Entity, We Have A Really Great Relationship With Them”
Why am I not surprised one of the most anti-American networks in the world is loved by the Obama regime?
(Politico) — In the halls of American power, the Arab Spring has brought Al-Jazeera in from the cold.
Seven years after then-Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld called the broadcaster’s reporting “vicious, inaccurate and inexcusable” and President George W. Bush joked about bombing it, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton praised it as “real news” in her recent Senate testimony.
Not only that, her staffers, as well as those of the CIA and the Obama White House, were attending the Congressional Correspondents’ Dinner as Al-Jazeera’s guests.
“They are a really important media entity, and we have a really great relationship with them,” said Dana Shell Smith, the State Department’s deputy assistant secretary for international media engagement, who speaks Arabic and has frequently appeared on the channel. “This administration has empowered those of us who actually do the communicating to be in a close relationship with Al-Jazeera. They understand that the relationship can’t consist of complaining to each other about the differences we have.”
The differences also have shrunk as the big story in the Middle East has shifted from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to the democratic movements sweeping the region. In the recent uprisings, U.S. interests tended to line up with Al-Jazeera’s, and President Barack Obama alluded to both the network’s influence and its pro-democracy bent in remarks caught on an open mic during a closed-door fundraiser last week.
“The emir of Qatar come by the Oval Office today, and he owns Al-Jazeera basically,” Obama said in remarks recorded by CBS News’s Mark Knoller. “Pretty influential guy. He is a big booster, big promoter of democracy all throughout the Middle East. Reform, reform, reform. You’re seeing it on Al-Jazeera.”

A traitor courting our enemy, nothing new here. Question is, why do we put up with it?
Well, Obama and his band of thugs, believe they are on a non-stoppable track to fulfilling their agenda; the new world order. They are not even trying to hide their contempt for America, and a vast portion of the population, any longer. It is full-blown, blatant, and the whole while, Obama laughs in our face.
When Obama cancelled two trips to my country, Australia, which is the strongest ally of the US in the southern hemisphere, and then made a special effort to visit his school-boy home of Indonesia, just a few hours flight to our north, I realised he was indeed still a Muslim, as he was raised.
He probably dropped in to let the Indonesians know that if they want to take Australia, it would be fine with him.

I think with this Internet monitoring/supervision, and this push for class warfare, and stirring the pot on racial issues, encouraging UNION thuggery, etc., it is an effort to fast-track/cause civil unrest to the point that Obama will just HAVE to declare some form of Martial Law. Then, who cares about 2012, he will be in until CHANGES ARE MADE! JMHO

I am completely unsurprised that the administration of Barack Hussein Obama has the warm fuzzies for Al-Jazeera. Just as B. Hussein Obama has embraced terrorist Bill Ayers, Rev. (G*d Damn America!) Wright and Hugo Chavez. There is no America hating entity that B. Hussein Obama will not snuggle up to.

The left has this planned well, too. The MSM in America becomes propagandists, then they import the likes of Russia Today and Al-J. The foreign news agencies produce news that is more accurate than our MSM, which allows the communists to propagandize once the people begin looking to these outlets for “truth”.
I have heard from many people that their news is far more in depth and more reliable than our own. I wonder why this is?

Media Al Jazeera’s Goal? North American TV Sets…Via New Kids Channel
Considering her recent praise for Al Jazeera, Hillary Clinton might do cartwheels when she hears about this story.
Al Jazeera, the controversial Arab news network often criticized for its unfriendly-to-America bent, is trying to figure out a way to get on American cable television. So what idea did it come up with? Use the kids. Yes, Al Jazeera has just announced plans for an English-language network for children — in North America.
According to the magazine Fast Company, the project is supposed to be completed by the end of 2012. And while the new channel will feature some original programming, content will also “be a mix of syndicated shows from other sources and original programming, dubbed into English, from the already existing Arabic-language Al Jazeera Children’s Channel.“
So what kind of programming might kids, and parents, expect to see on the new Al Jazeera cartoon network? One need only to look at the current content of Al Jazeera’s Arabic childrens channel to guess.
There’s “Saladin,” which tells the story of the crusades through the eyes of a legendary Muslim warrior:
