Unreal: Wisconsin Office Handling Recall of Dem Fleabagger Broken Into, Recall Petitions Stolen…

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WTAQ) — Police in Green Bay are looking into a burglary at an office used by a group seeking to recall Democratic State Senator Dave Hansen.
Authorities say it most likely happened between 5 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. on Friday.
In an e-mail, group organizer David Vander Leest says petitions, t-shirts and a computer were taken from the office at 1136 West Mason Street.
Vander Leest also blamed the incident on the “opposition of Recall Dave Hansen.”
How convenient, last week the group announced they had enough petitions to recall Dem Sen. Dave Hansen.
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WTAQ) — The “Recall Dave Hansen” committee says it has collected enough signatures to initiate a new election. The group says it has collected 15,000 signatures.
Dave Vander Leest from Green Bay has been leading the charge and expects to file the paperwork next week. Vander Leest says he started the recall effort because he was “irritated that they were making heroes out of Senators leaving the state and going AWOL.”
Vander Leest says Tea Party groups along with conservative minded people helped with the effort.
To initiate a new recall election, the group needed 13,852, which represents 25% of the number of people who voted in the last election.

The Republicans are going to have to plan for more security in everything, it appears.
FLEABAGGER GATE !!!
I hope when they collect more signatures, they`ll have double the number they had before to recall Dave Hansen.
Just offer up a reproduction of the signatures, and go ahead with the recall.
Call anyone who questions the act a ‘Petition Denier’.

Call anyone who questions the act a ‘Petition Denier’.
Hee. “The science is settled.”
There is no excuse, given the known habits of the left, for not storing those petitions off-site, like in a safety deposit box.
And having multiple copies.
Quick – somebody go check the motels and hotels in Rockville IL…
Now they have names and addresses of the petition signers so they can start their campaign of intimidation and terror against law abiding citizens.
“Police in Green Bay are looking into a burglary….”

Somehow i doubt this.
.
SO…in light of this despicable act, do we have to from now on guard similar petitions with multiple armed guards? Suggest any such guards be armed with high-capacity clips!
Could also be that they never got the petitions and staged the whole thing. Likely? Probably not. But you might want to avoid assuming this was done by the left until it’s proven. Unlike, you know, like the last time the right got worked up about a crime faked by a righty:

re-collecting the sigs “should” be trivial – anyone who already signed will be hot under the collar, and one would think 1000′s of ‘newbies’ will pile on.
One would hope, anyway..
Why wouldnt they keep the petitions with them? You just leave them in an office? How stupid can you get?
Id go back out and get them again, and include more of them, not just one person in the petition.
Get rid of all of them.
I am very suspicious of this “alleged break in and robbery”. This could very well be an inside job since whoever broke in knew just where to look and what to take.
The Republicans have been saying for a couple of weeks now that they have enough signatures to file recalls against several of the Democratic senators but so far no recalls have been filed. It is quite possible that they never had enough signatures and so staged this break in.
Also, please note that there have been quite a few incidents of Republicans attacking and punching people collecting signatures to recall Republican senators and their petitions have been stolen. The police have caught and arrested several of these people and are looking for more.
Seeing as this is WI, it was more than likely the cops that broke in.
No Copies of the petitions? This sounds like little kids were in charge of the whole thing. Sounds fishy to me.
So, was Big Sis Janet in charge of security?
.
can these idiots stoop any lower than they already have?
Molly, care to back up your nonsense?
I know of only one incident of an attack and petitions destroyed. It was union thugs attacking Tea Party members and was widely reported including on this very site:
http://weaselzippers.us/2011/03/16/union-protestors-in-wisconsin-destroy-democrat-recall-petitions-and-police-do-nothing/
The good news is that the people at the recall site say that they still have enough signatures:

wardogs
The cancer known as Illinois must be spreading to their neighbors.
Get ready for 2012. Those rat bastards will unleash the whole bag of dirty tricks. We are so close to becoming a banana republic.
Maybe we can get Jimmie Carter to monitor our election this next time. Hmmm….
Infuriating!
Make this go viral…we have to help fight this, and yes, the repubs better start protecting everything far better than they are now…we will defeat them, not just there, but everywhere across this land.
We must.
I am so sick of political shenanigans. Throw them all out and let’s start the entire system over.
This happened right after bussed in astroturf for the Tea Party Rally.
I trust that the left union thugs would go and steal everything and the Computers will reveal a lot more information about future plans for recalls and staging areas’ Watch for the Unions to show up at all these places and you’ll have your thief.
I support the conservative movement, the Tea Party and Gov. Scott Walker.
The Dave Hansen recall effort led by David Vander Leest apparently isn’t savvy enough to know that the opposition will do anything with a “win at any cost” mentality. The recall is too important not to have someone in charge of it to allow an office with a data base and the actual signed recall petitions left in an unsecurable office. Those items need to be secured somewhere…in a safe off site would be my suggestion.
I hope that this is a repairable error by the group and other’s leading the recall of the Wisconsin 14 Fleebagers. The lack of securing this information doesn’t exactly lend itself to confidence in the organizers, does it.
I am calling for someone to relieve Vander Leest from the lead-organizer position. While I admire his effort and share in his cause, I don’t think Wisconsin can risk this effort with someone in charge of it that underestimates the mentality of the opponent.
