Did anyone ever take a sociology class in college? I did. Yeah. Waste of time.
My daughter recently asked me for an idea for her sociology class field project … you know…. interview people, watch them, something….whatever….
So, I told her I had an idea. I had taken a friend to WalMart a few weeks ago to get a fishing license. I waited in my car in the parking lot. It’s a fairly diverse area… black, whites, hispanics, all income levels. I sat for 20 minutes watching people come out. Guess which race(s) always put shopping carts in the designated areas, and which race(s) always left them in the middle of the parking lot, by another car, or just tossed them away to roll around at other cars?…….
I told her to check it out, perhaps do a survey…..you know, for sociology. She immediately admitted the results would not be good for her grade.
Hey kids, big government is a huge business. Lets boycott them!
Once again are children are left with STRANGERS who have malicious agendas. The PTA should be abuzz with outrage on how many levels of economics, science and ecological mistakes that this …..*rap song tries to convey as “being good for the Earth”.

The Memphis teenage pregnancy rates are 20-25%. The highest in the country.

Wow ! Everyday I think I cannot be reading and seeing some of these things, there is something new the next day. Homeschooled my kid for four years, was the best thing we ever did for him. I cannot figure out how schools got away from math and reading and thought they had the right to do this with other peoples children.
I went to high school in Memphis.
Memphis sucks! Glad I left that place.
I am surprised to see this in Cordova.
Everyone was moving out of Memphis into areas like Cordova.
I see now that they need to move farther away again.

Memphis pretty much annexed Cordova. They’ve been trying to get Bartlett as well. City and country schools just merged too.
Now, everyone moves to another county or across the state line.

This “skool” is in Cordova, TN which is part of Memphis, TN. The area consists of about 70% (or more) low income, gimmie gimmie gimmie some of that stash, entitlement minded, welfare addicts. The local politicians and the local school board have been full of corruption for the past 30 years or more. This area is quickly on its way to becoming another Detroit and we see what a wonderful, thriving metropolis it has turned out to be.
I am not surprised that this is a Memphis area school, but I am surprised that it happened in Cordova. Cordova used to be a decent place to live, in Memphis until recent years. It used to be full of people who actually work and pay their taxes, you know, in order to support the poor, unfortunate, perpetually down on their luck, it‘s all Bush’s fault “inner city dwellers.”
The Memphis city school board decided to give up the city school charter, recently, in order to take over and corrupt the county school system since they city school system was doing soooo wonderfully. The city school system ranks right down there with the Detroit school system too. The graduation rate is one of the lowest in the country and the drop out rate is higher than most of the country.
I am so glad I voted with my taillights years ago and got out of that crime ridden pest hole.
Standard leftists ideology is to bite the hand that feeds them than wonder what happened when everything starts to crumble around them. Of course the left never has the insight to realize that their destructive ideology is to blame for the cesspool they have created for themselves and everyone else within the sphere of their evil ideology.

First off, I hope that you attained rights to post video of these children online. Second, your headline does not mach any lyrics in the song. When did it become a crime to teach our children to be good stewards of the earth? I am far from a conservationist, but I appreciate the great strides we have taken in this country to clean it up so that we can enjoy being outside. Anybody remember Lake Erie? No, probably not. Let me try something a little more current…the Gulf of Mexico? I boycott BP because of their lack of responsiblity. I boycott CITGO because they are run by a socialist/communist regime. Is it too much to ask business to help clean up? I think not. We are always asking individuals to do it. I hate it when I take my little boy to the park and he sees all the litter. I agree that boycott and petition may seem like strong words. Maybe they should have said write a letter, ask kindly, something a little more “politically correct.” We wouldn’t want to offend anybody. While we’re at it, let’s not teach people their rights.
