RINO Sen. Susan Collins Says She Will Vote Against Ryan GOP Budget Plan…
She sucks.
Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine.) said Friday that she will not support the 2012 budget passed by the House last week.
“I don’t happen to support Congressman Ryan’s plan but at least he had the courage to put forth a plan to significantly reduce the debt,” Collins said on “In the Arena” a program on WCSH 6, a local NBC affiliate in Portland, Maine.
Collins is the first Republican senator to state publicly that she will not support the Ryan budget.
The plan, crafted by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), would cut $5.8 trillion in spending over 10 years and transform Medicare into a sort of voucher system, among other measures, to balance the budget by 2040 without raising taxes.
The budget proposal passed the House last Friday but is expected to fail in the Senate. The House voted 235-193 to pass the proposal, with only four Republicans voting aginst it. No Democrat voted for the plan.

I am again disgusted that this person, who represents my state, has stated that she will vote against Rep Ryan’s budget sight unseen. She has yet to cut spending during her tenure in office, supporting Planned Parenthood, EPA, DOJ and every big government program to shake the taxpayers down. WHAT IS YOUR PLAN? All of these animals need to be voted out. She is an example of what more that one term does to their heads. You are not the ruling class.

We have got to get these Democrats out of the Republican party or are they plants by the repubs to vaguely “go along” with the Dims plans? Why aren’t they called out as not voting along the party lines over and over? I hope we get the root of them out of the republican party in 2012. You tried to get rid of Murkowski and failed, which is why she so enjoys flipping you the bird now. Get rid of Collins and Snow and you have basically no hope of holding either seat in the foreseeable future. You’ll probably lose Brown next election anyway but if you want to waste money there by all means be my guest.
As for Ryan’s plan, since it’s ridiculously divorced from reality calling Collins a traitor for not pretending it isn’t is kind of lame, frankly. If you want to write a screw-the-poor-and-reward-the-rich budget you certainly can, but using such asinine assumptions as <3% unemployment and magic revenues that appear from nowhere is just begging to have your budget mocked.
The GOP really needs to remove Collins from any positions of seniority on committees. She’s always been a RINO but her constituents keep sending her back. The least the Senate GOP can do is to minimize the amount of damage she can inflict.
