IMF Predicts End of American Economic Dominance Within 5 Years…
Otherwise known as “mission accomplished” in the Obama regime.
(Market Watch) — The International Monetary Fund has just dropped a bombshell, and nobody noticed.
For the first time, the international organization has set a date for the moment when the “Age of America” will end and the U.S. economy will be overtaken by that of China.
And it’s a lot closer than you may think.
According to the latest IMF official forecasts, China’s economy will surpass that of America in real terms in 2016 — just five years from now.
Put that in your calendar.
It provides a painful context for the budget wrangling taking place in Washington, D.C., right now. It raises enormous questions about what the international security system is going to look like in just a handful of years. And it casts a deepening cloud over both the U.S. dollar and the giant Treasury market, which have been propped up for decades by their privileged status as the liabilities of the world’s hegemonic power.
According to the IMF forecast, whomever is elected U.S. president next year — Obama? Mitt Romney? Donald Trump? — will be the last to preside over the world’s largest economy.
Most people aren’t prepared for this. They aren’t even aware it’s that close. Listen to experts of various stripes, and they will tell you this moment is decades away. The most bearish will put the figure in the mid-2020s.

The sheer size of the American market as compared to the rest of the world made the Utopian vision impossible. No effort to manipulate world markets could succeed if it didn’t control the huge FREE market of the US. The FREE market could always offer an escape route to any nation that was backed into a corner by the collective world. It had to be made smaller if any collective “Progress” was to be made.

Unless I’m missing sarcasm here,
1) Define an ‘ultra Conservative’.
2) Conservatives have not held Congress in years. The Republicans took the Congress last fall and based on the last several weeks of deals we’ve watched, were able to kick the Conservatives to the back of the bus again while they folded for the Liberals.
3) Did ‘ultra Conservatives’ create the last three years of a ruined economy, disastrous foreign policy, three wars, skyrocketing gas/food/oil prices, a doubling of the automobile gas price, trillions in deficits and record spending? (I’ll give you that Bush and the Left joined together to help get the deficits started, but Bush was no ‘ultra Conservative’. And the Left have gone hog wild, dwarfing in two years anything Bush did over his eight years as far as spending, deficits, and pork).
4) Why is it that the Left stand up and cheer when they hear that America is doing poorly? Why do they root for America’s demise? Do they not understand that they too are part of America and if America goes down, they go down with it?
Meanwhile, China continues to build empty cities to fool the rest of the world (and themselves) that they are the dominate economic force in the universe. BOOM, oh no, the high speed rail system bubble in China just went bust….fancy that. Didn’t Obama have one on his wish list? Wake up the folks…the media is making America look bad on purpose. This country has more combined economic power in California, Texas, Oklahoma and the Southeast states than any other country in the world….and with a fewer mouths to feed.
